Who are people looking at for DGR 6 ?

BH - Lynn , Mujeeb
HH - Short , Wade

Currently I only have Bartlett from either team so funds dependant I will be looking at:

BH - Lynn, Mujeeb (both look to as if they will be reasonable prices at that point)
HH - Short, Wade, Lamichane (if I need a cheaper option), Ellis

I will probably only have 3 of each for that round so I had better get the right ones :

We dodged England in the finals, thats the only reason we won. NZ essentially helped us win the WC as we match up much better against them.



Steketee, Mujeeb and possibly Bazley if he keeps showing form. Not loading up too much on Heat as I’ll target probably 4 Canes.

3 night break after tonight's game so good chance for a resit and have a good think for Round 4 - 6 block.

Renshaw is definitely coming in next round , so that leaves 8 trades to work with.

Do like Behrendorff as a 5th Scorcher.

Will need to get the calculator out though and see how many $$$ I will have to play with.

Sandeep is the one I am likely to bring in early as he is bowling well without luck and the two teams he plays haven’t been very sensible vs spin recently.

BUT i think a case can be made for sandeep for the DGR purely on his ability to consistently pull 30-35 points a match, 100k now for 60-70 points in a dgr seems a worthwhile trade to make

Depends on who else you pick alongside them. Ideally, you’ve made enough money on cheapies like Short, Paris and even Couch (amongst others) to have two mid rangers that you couldn’t purchase at the beginning of the season.

Think I will just have to be content with my bench going forward , it will be :-

Nielsen
Finch , Hughes
Renshaw * , Faridoun

Only Byes after Round 4 are Round 8 (Hurricanes) & Round 11 (Scorchers) so surely Finch is playing then and he & Renshaw can provide cover.

Nielsen can cover Wade in Round 8 for those that bench 3 Hurricanes on their Bye.

yeah perfect E tag player with the schedule and pricing, the only schedule better would be picking someone up from adelaide round 5 onwards on the cheap, ie a renshaw/ sub 100k weatherald or if agar gets a bit closer to 100k given they have another double round and only twice play outside the first two games for the rest of the season

Great pickup on the Strikers draw , didn't even realise that , Renshaw might be more beneficial than I thought.

Looks like I am working off a old version of the Game order , manually fixed the DGR & Byes but completely forgot to change the game order......doh

Probably would look at Round 7-9 to bring in the Strikers again but a value Weatherald or Agar earlier could definitely be viable.

Still trying to get my head around the entire Round 7 - 11 block

Don't think the game order has changed, that's set by CA.
What did change is the grouping that SC used to put games into rounds.
I found my original round timetable was out by 1 game for the back end of the season.
