Haven’t been able to face BBL until now after my error last night.
Was being careful given MMarsh hadn’t played a game yet and was holding final trade until he was named, but I missed the trade deadline due to work (logged on at 0.3 overs), and then watched him make 100. I was M.Short to MMarsh after having a great start with 5 Melb stars, and am currently sitting 94th overall).
Getting him in with his DGW next week and his 160 last night would have put me right at the pointy end, and now I feel like I’ve got no appropriate play at all - I think it’s ruined my chances for the season.

That's gotta hurt. Can imagine that sinking feeling when you realised the game was already underway.
I wouldn't say it will ruin your chances for the season though. You've got yourself in a great position so far.
So what's the team looking like for the remainder of the round? Who is still to play? Can you still trade a Striker for a Sixer to maximise your score this round?

I just feel like the ability to get a Scorcher in ahead of the double would have been so handy, I guess you never know.
I could bring in another sixer, but I already have 3 of them and given they don’t have another DGR I didn’t really want a 4th.
Need to have a think when the teams come out tonight.
I guess it only hurts this round and next, and then we are all back resetting for the next lot of DGR players.
Felt like I could play a straight bat the next few weeks and climb with a really well balanced team that is thrown by that miss.
Oh well, see how goes tonight.
