Had Thomas as backup GKP for Vukovic and Donachie (who came on off the bench in the 2nd half) for Grant in DEF, ended up just putting Rojas on the bench and didn't have Berisha or any of the Phoenix Internationals.
Scored 95 for the round, which I thought was OK, until I saw the leaders' scores. Dropped from 2nd down to 3rd, and now the gap to 5th is only 4 points with 3 rounds to go!
54 points behind the leader (16 points loss this round) so I don't think it's realistic for my team to pull that back. Just hoping to hang onto a Top 3 finish to be in the prize money.

The FULL lock-out has its pros & cons.
Resting of players in the last few rounds, plus a few red cards and missed penalties for my players saw my team go from 2nd to 7th in the end, 70 points from the winner.
My final round captain in Martinez went massive with a -4 courtesy of a missed penalty!
All in all, happy with my first attempt at this fantasy caper, albeit falling out of the prize money in the end.

Actually looking forward to next years comp for a-league. Took me a while to get into this one (7 trades still remaining at seasons end...) but ended the year with the 3rd ranked round 27 score, and Colazo sitting on the bench.. ouch!

I might make an attempt to bump this.
The new Keep Up version of A League fantasy I am finding is quite good. I like the simplicity, while still being able to use all the same strategies as other fantasy games.
I am currently ranked 42 out of the 13000 odd, which I am very happy with. Finding a strategy of a few consistent guns who I use the VC and C on (Cummings, Maclaren and Goodwin), while focusing on BEs for the rest is working. The limited number of trades (esp. compared to BBL) will be a test later in the season though.
Anyone else playing?
