Never in doubt and congrats to all the Price owners.

But did it have to be one of my starting selections, of which he and Wright were the only ones to progress to the Quarter Final stage? I decided to drop Price to hedge Wright and Dimitri in the expectation that the winner would progress to the final.

Having Price was just luck of the 50/50 draw for me.
Had to choose:
Price, DvdB, Aspinall
or
Wright, DVD, de Sousa

Could have easily gone either way!

WORLD MATCHPLAY FINAL RESULTS

Michael van Gerwen adds to his 2022 trophy cabinet with the Matchplay title, coming over the top of Price for an 18-14 win.
Professor and The Banker stuck with MvG throughout, the Final being MvG's clear best performance on the stats sheet throughout the tournament.
