Not going to post any side updates tonight / tomorrow as they are in the site .... well sort of ... lol (too busy going through the remaining players) ..

Think I'm going to be able to grab two more on field players ... gonna be a fine line me thinks ...

Think I've got enough for a starting side (but only just by the skin of teeth or whatever that saying is ) .... now looking to work on cover ...

- Unfortunately ... not a lot of cash generation though or those gold 2018 draft class picks ....

- Think it will take me years to catch up on those missed bargains ... just luck of the draft order !!

I'm pretty stoked with the top half of my side so far. I had Heeney, DSmith, Nank and TGreene all in my top 10 for the Free Agency draft and ended up with all of them!

Rowell, Rankine, Stack and B.King as my top end young talent.

The challenge will be from here on in for me as I'll need to find a moneyball approach to fit in the top end of my list. I've already taken a few cheaper compromise selections which I think I wouldn't have taken if I had a bit more cap space.

Very interesting concept as there is a feel of SC Classic about it (i.e. finding value).

Was looking back through the three draft classes and the 2018 one looks to be a cracker ..

- Starting with 2017 I had pick 10 and didn't see a lot in it ...... wanted Brander but time will tell ....

- 2018 ... well it was like a X-mas gift on paper but at pick 9 I feel like I got robbed ... :)

- 2019 ... yet to see ...

Probably a worthwhile time to bump this post from Ken as we start to look at finalising those contract years...
