Looking at a couple of scenarios:

Option 1:

Briggs to Brayshaw
Ford to Maric
Sheezal to Yeo

Leaves me with $175K to trade Cogs to Clarry next week or following week. Down to 4 trades after that.

Option 2:

Briggs to Trac
Foord to Maric
Sheezal to Ridley

Next week or two would need to downgrade Cincotta to a rookie to upgrade to Clarry.

Option 3:

Keep Briggs as R3 for his cash gen

Ford to Maric
Cogs to Brayshaw
Cincotta to Yeo / moves Day to M8

Any thoughts, as it feels like my season hangs on the line with these trades.
Option 2 everyday of the week

Always comes down to where you draw your line - of all his 13 scores to date, he has 7 scores of 110 or lower (97, 97, 103, 110, 104, 103, 95), and 3 monster scores (167, 148, 159). plus a couple of nice middle scores (119, 122). For a $650k spend I'd say that's the definition of hot and cold. you are more likely to get a <110 score than a >120 score.

Everyone has their own definitions, but 7 scores between 95 and 110 for what is meant to be an uber premium is pretty cold for mine.
Interesting... under 110 cold or under 115, personal opinion I guess. I don't have Trac, nor can I see myself getting him now, However outside Bont he seems as hot and cold as most other options? Think all the below have gone lower than Trac this year too! Maybe Libba the only other ones who stands out with Bont?

Petracca (7/13 under 110) or (7/13 under 115)
Dunkley (6/13) or (6/13)
Laird (5/13) or (7/13)
Neale (7/13) or (7/13)
Taranto (3/13) or (7/13)
Libba (4/13) or (5/13)
Kelly (5/10) or (5/10)
Merret (6/12) or (9/13)

I'm trading Cripps out this week!
Really tried to avoid that trade but I think it sets me up well moving forward and gets me to 17 this week
Cripps and Ford -> DCam and Maric

Leaves me with 6 trades, a healthy bank and a forward and midfield upgrade required with lots of ripe rookies to harvest. Hoping to snag some good premo PODS moving forward.

With Oliver now out change of plans for proposed trades…thinking of going hard to get an edge this week…

Out Wardlaw, Ford and Johnston..

In, Trac, Dcameron and Maric…

Next week or following bring in Oliver…

Still have Humphrey, Mitchell and Weddle that can combine to bring Oliver back in once I see a game or two under his belt….

Players I've traded out and back in again this season;

Tom Stewart
Max Gawn
Stephen Coniglio
Nat Fyfe
Darcy Cameron

Next week, Clayton Oliver?

Don't recall ever doing so many in the one season.
Only Stewart for me so far, but DC will be #2 this week. I think my sum total from the previous two years was one, that being Dangerfield out with my first trade and back in with my last!

Has anyone else noticed the SC Gold Optimiser tool is making impossible switches?
I have Sheezel in FWD with no DEF/FWD Swing player located in the backline. Upon clicling Optimise it is putting Sheezel into DEF and making way for this by moving Day from DEF to MID and Roberts from MID to FWD.

This is a pretty big flaw as you can gain some big advantages if it optimises in your favour.
You could always do this yourself by trading a player out and moving the players into the new positions, You then traded the new player back to who you traded out.

Is it silly to take Mullin knowing he's not playing just as a cheap D8?

For context, it allows me to do:
Cincotta, Ford, Johnson, Sheez
to
Dawson, Mullin, DCam, Maric

And then next round
Humphrey, JVR
to
Oliver, Brisbane rookie

Leaving me with completed team, 5 trades, plus reasonable cover at D7 (Weddle), M9 (Brisbane rookie probably), F7 (Maric) and a few loops available.

If you're looking at a base priced rookie to grab as much cash as possible, then taking one that's played a game or two seems a decent choice.

To get to 18 this week should I do
Sicily > Dawson
or hold Sicily and do
Ziebel > Yeo (unfortunately not enough cash to get Ridley/Ryan)
If I hold Sicily I'll cover with Mitchell the next two rounds.

Ziebel to Yeo sounds alright the way Ziebel's going lately, as long as you think Yeo will last the rest of the season...otherwise just play 17 I reckon.

Thoughts on Sheldrick keeping his spot in the team despite the returns of Mills and Heeney this round? Parker also returned last week.
Don't really mind if Sheldrick doesn't play mid, just need someone for bench cover over the next few weeks at the least. Is there any first team player due to return soon for Sydney that could take his place?

Think the kid showed something last week that warrants him to keep his spot, albeit in a reduced midfield role…
Mills May play back given the swans woes with lack of defensive options as well, could help his midfield minutes
