I really wanna start Briggs. Trying to find excuses to do so.

Same here.. I’m looking at how Jackson at R2 early could go.. shift him forward and get Briggs in once I have the cash or if there is an injury/poor performing premium I need to deal with. Team feels a lot better with no Grundy (pending how he goes R0) and gives me good flexibility to adjust. That said, I might just start Briggs and see if I can ride that bye..

The temptation on starting is that WC game he plays before the bye. I kinda want my rucks to play WC early before Flynn is a chance to get back.

Yeah very fair! That could easily be 140+ and being the last game could be a handy C option if a VC fails. Reckon his ownership would be a lot higher with no early bye so good chance for a serious pod.

It blows my mind that we’ve got so much value this year that Dow and Berry are POD’s … Years gone by I reckon they’d both be locks!

Dow , Berry , McKercher , Sanders , Hustwaite , Roberts , Wilson * , Clark , Sharp = 9

Fisher , Fyfe * , Jordon * , Billings , Reid * , Windsor * / Sexton , Cadman = 8

Probably missed a few as well

How many downgrade trades/cash needed to fund 12 onfield midpricers/rookies ?

Can all 6 of the mid pricers score enough ?

Probably need Berry, Billings , Dow , Fyfe , Jordon to get to $ 425k ish before upgrading, not sure what they would need to average to achieve that

If Darcy misses 6, in the first 6 games Jackson plays against Brisbane (at OS), Port & WCE who give away big points to opposition ruckmen, as well as 2 more games at OS, and a game against North.

Geez I’m glad we’ve got a free look at Grundy, had just got used to English R1 with Gawn R2 but couldn’t help think where that extra $240k could’ve been spent.

Tigers are lacking pace in the mids and someone with good lateral movement and good hands fits nicely. Bolton is going to spend a lot more time forward with just the odd stint at centre bounces. Cotch retiring helps, but Dow will get a good crack at it. Don't expect his scoring to be anything hot though, has a very high H/ball-kick ratio

Shame, I like Bolten as a player, would be good if he were SC relevant.

You can also look at it as a rookie correction trade.

Getting a decent rookie on the bubble and having better scoring rookies making the quick money on field.

Yep. That's what I meant by "tally another trade to your corrections"

Those correction trades add up mighty fast too if you don't keep on top of them. Before you know it you are trading into Kozzy Pickett to get a quick price bump on the back of what looks like increased mid time and scoring, only to be spending again when he drops you that final 16, your season in tatters
