I would want to keep Sanders this week given no Libba.

Main Dogs midfield rotation could be Bont, Treloar & Sanders...
I'm absolutely torn on this as well

If I boost and trade out Sanders I can get right up to another premium (just McKercher and one rookie isn't enough cash).

If he gets Bevo'd again in any of the next few weeks he'll only make another $30k or so, whereas I could put in someone who will score 100s instead right now

Actually, I've just looked again and I can get up to guys around $530k by keeping Sanders and boosting out Jack Carroll instead.

Best of those I can reach are Yeo and Zorko! Who'd have thought that would be a choice at this point in the season?

Normally would agree, but I don't have anyone else to really downgrade that allows that amount of funds to get Heeney. Massimo, Sharp, Roberts, and Dempsey all have better BE's. Cadman, Clark and Wilson leave me short.

I must be looking at it all wrong

Even if the likes of D'Ambrosio , H Reid , Roberts , Sanders , Sharp , Williams all get to $ 375k each that's still another $ 200k each to get them to a $ 575k premium (sure a few are falling in price so hopefully it coincides)

Can't see how/where I am generating $ 1.2 million to find those upgrades , time will tell.

I guess you have set yourself up very well.
I might struggle for cash too. Have Draper, Clark, Wilson, Carroll, who don't look like being great cash cows. Mckercher out hurts as well. Certainly missed a few good ones like Sharp 😪

Initial thoughts are:

McKercher>Graham
Bramble>Yeo
Dawson>Touk

SHould have gotten rid of Dawsons weeks ago but thought he would turn the corner. Can't even score well in a Crows win. Very alarming. Need to chop while he still has some semblance of value.

18 players so far have risen by $ 100k + , I think I have 10 of those.

Dempsey & Darcy are big misses for me.

Interesting seeing Khamis , Thomas & Wehr in the Top 10.

McKercher definitely hurts.

Teams that started the likes of :-

McGovern , Yeo
Steele , Crouch , Martin
Grundy , Xerri
Flanders , Heeney

etc

would be extremely well placed at the moment

Hopefully I can get 2 forward downgrades for Round 7 then it all becomes timing as to how long to hold the rookies and which premiums to bring in.

Still hoping for some spike games for Clark & Wilson myself 😀

Just need to do the best we can now with what we have

any reason why rankine isnt on anyones radar?
Potentially in this week. Adelaide have made it obvious they want more variety in their midfield mix. 0-4 to start the season. Rankine gets increased time while Laird, Dawson, Crouch all have a slight decrease and they beat one of the best teams in the comp in Carlton away from home. Soligo’s midfield has been trending upwards the last few weeks too as another more damaging/explosive type in comparison to Crouch, Laird and to an extent Dawson.

In terms of fixture, he has the round 15 bye which means if he isn’t quite at that top 6-8 level he can be easily flipped. 7 of his next 10 are in Adelaide and 11 of his remaining 18 fixtures are in Adelaide. Last year he averaged 92.6 at home and 70.3 away. He plays North, WC, Hawthorn and Richmond in his next 8 (those last three in a row).

Personally, he was in my team most of late preseason and was in my side as of the start of round 0 before being replaced by Heeney. I was hoping for a 70/30 FWD/MID split but if he’s getting 61% CBAs I’m willing to jump on.

Do you have Touk? Almost the same price, just very wary of a player coming off back surgery playing 1 game
Yes, already have Touk. Still a little concerned with Walsh injury history with his back issues which could flare up at any time.? But he is one of the best and nicely priced.

LDU, honestly the man doesnt look interested in finding the ball, waitng on the outside of the contest to much waiting for a handball recieve and isnt workng hard enough off the ball. I persisted 2 weeks with LDU and he has to go.

What are you saving the 4th boost for out of interest? Maybe I am missing something, but I don't see an issue using them now while decent cash cows are available.

Valid point. These were my initial plans anyway. Will give some thought into what you're suggesting. Have been burnt previously in using boosts too early, but I do understand the logistics in using them now.

At this stage was hoping to get Merrett in next week with his softer draw coming up, or Stewart if his price is right next week, or even Marshall from Jackson
