Someone at SD clearly isn't too savvy.

Pep has a habit of easing new recruits into his system. I doubt he'll have regular starts from the beginning.

Though a bargain, there's still a large opportunity cost in that position, if Haaland, Salah and Isak are fully fit.
The opposite can be said about MIDs, where there are few big guns who look like firing early, and a plethora of basement bargain cash cows.

Yeh depends how Pep plays the international guys to start. Alvarez looks to be off to Atletico Madrid for a City record fee.

Yep, reminds me of two seasons ago they got confused about Gabriel from Arsenal and made him basement price. Probably avoidable with minimal research and/ or awareness

With Leicester and Ipswich Town in the first three rounds, is anyone considering a Fulham defender in Sportsdeck such as C Bassey ($4,400,000)?

Count Bassey? Pereira is same price but proven over many seasons.
Too many other good options for half a million cheaper.
A fair option, but just feels he's not one of the best filler DEFs.
