833 and surprisingly went up in the ranks, however, I made a couple of frustrating decisions this round.

1. When I saw that Short was out I traded him to Lynn, but then I saw Pope come out to open and changed to him at the last second, really wish I had just missed that lockout;
2. Picking JFM over Brown (felt like a 50/50 decision); and
3. Trading out Stoinis instead of Walter to get Owen's score.

I also feel that my team is in a poor position because of earlier decisions, such as starting Shaw over Doran and trading in Davies instead of Turner in round 2.

Feel as if my team is a bit of a mess, but we'll see what we can do to recover.

Can we swap teams ?

8 players averaging 50+

+ Edwards

Reasonable money in the Bank

Curran to trade out , bit of deadwood

Trade out Fraser-McGurk , Pope & Walter and you are back on track

I’m probably being dramatic with the frustration so fresh. Just feel that if I had gone the other way on those 50/50 calls I could be right up the top.

Can't dwell

If I picked the right players from Round 1 I would be currently leading the competition 😀 , unfortunately I didn't and I am now playing catch-up.

On to Round 5 we all go

1005 Overton

Lynn 123 (124)
Thornton 106 (153)
Overton C 68x2 (71x2)
Bethell 67 (69)
Rogers 64 (130)
Zampa 60 (103)
O.Pope 47 (48)
Sutherland 24 (66)

Lynn with a great knock today. Was well underpriced on what he ‘could’ do, but hadn’t shown any form whatsoever and his dismissal against Perth in game 1 was shocking. Took the punt, paid off. Thornton, Overton and Rogers all great with the ball. Bethell’s role was much better today, a little unlucky to not pick up 1-2 more (LBW/dropped catch) but hopefully the Renegades use him a bit more now. Zampa continuing to bowl in the surge again. Don’t like it, but it paid off this time. Pope with lots of points keeping, got demoted from the opening spot this game. Sutherland no good.

This time last night I was looking at getting below par, by a sizeable amount too. Now I should get a pretty nice jump. Didn’t expect a whole lot tonight with the 2 teams on the double facing each other but I got very lucky with the points distribution.
cracker of a team this round !!

1735849769617.png Had a mare of a round and unsure how to proceed. I have lots of money tied up in underwhelming premiums and can only have a maximum of 4 DGRs this round. I traded in Owens last round and Chaudary looks the goods. Billings and Warner are the obvious choices for the Thunder, Agar is probably overpriced and Sams is hitand miss.
