Does anyone else plat dreamteam on here?
of the major public games, just playing Supercoach and AFL Fantasy, if that is what you mean by dreamteam, it's old name.

Funny enough I don't follow it closely because I digest SC stats and barely have time to look at AFL Fantasy stats.
For some reason my team did ok last round as 825th for round but I got little idea of pricing changes as they change every week , not every 3 weeks and I just make trades based on gut feel rather than research. I missed realizing I needed to do my team yesterday. As a result all of Langdon, Pendles and Dangerfield locked into my bench from previous bye round. Thankfully for some reason I had (E) on all of them which means their scores can count for this round still despite the stuff up yesterday. Thankfully partial lockout so able to do trades when I finally checked into my account there.

I have a feeling Tom Mitchell might be back for the Swans next game..

64 disposals (50 effective)
24 contested possessions
12 clearances
14 inside 50s
22 score involvements
4 goals
4 assists
‪269 supercoach points

These kind of numbers are the reason why I started him. We all know what he is capable of if he can get on and stay on the park.

Unfortunatly TMitch was traded from my team a couple of weeks ago as I was unable to carry him through the byes. and
I would suspect that most that had him would have traded him also.

Dear I say it, if he can get back into the team and stay there, he may be a good POD later in the year...

For him to get a game he will probably have to squeeze out Lloyd and Jack. Which would mean more pain for Mitchell owners, since if these two players get squeezed out then Mitchell would be a very high chance of being the sub.

The sad thing is that isn't even THAT extraordinary of an effort for the NEAFL.

Yeah and before TMitch debuted last year, he banged out 3 consecutive 50ish possession games in a row which warranted the call up. That red hot form carried into his first AFL game with most people jumping on after that!

I started him over Parker because he went beast mode against GWS in the NAB cup. I know it's only GWS but seriously, if the Swans are to play the crap teams every 6 rounds or so, it's worth it for his beast mode.

Pushed it too hard with respect to a roller coaster of excitement vs. good old consistency :p

Mitch Morton used to average Jason Dunstall-type numbers in the NEAFL.

I could probably get a kick in that league.

I still got Mitchell in my team, holding the dream he comes back in time for when I have a tilt at getting highest score in a round.
Well least it sounds like he is getting over his injury concerns. Don't think he could get that many stats if he was still hampered. Sounds like back to his normal self. Only problem is Swans in such good form now they have luxury of just taking it easy with him and time when they bring him back to seniors to suit their own needs.

Parker, K Jack, Hanneberry, JPK, McVeigh, McGlynn and Bird all providing the hard grunt work the engine room needs.

Having said that, I guess they could easily just take a Brandon Jack or Cunningham out for him after the bye. Hoping he gets another run in NEAFL whilst they have a bye which should have him cherry ripe after the bye to come back.
I'd happily trade the Swans Kane Lucas, Warnock, Bootsma, S White, Cachia, Ellard for just for him on his own. I'd rather have that Swans fringe player and give up 6 spots in our list for some of our fringe players.

Whilst that maybe true. I have no doubt that in next couple of years Tom Mitchell will go close to breaking the 200 point barrier in a game in seniors too.
he heh.. Hopefully in about round 15 this season for my team on the same week Franklin goes 150+ himself ;)

My overall season has sunk on keeping the faith with these guys and likes of Cotchin, but weekly prize still a slim hope.

Hi Oz - have also had Cotchin from the start and whilst I'm not delighted with him he's hardly been a season killer. He's played ever game (fingers crossed for this weekend) and of those midfielders who've already had their bye, he's only 81 points short of the total points of the 10th best pure mid (Sloane 898 vs Cotchin 817). I get he hasn't lived up to pre-season promise and our great hopes but he's hardly been a disaster. I'd still back him to help you win that weekly prize as he'll be a good POD too.

I hear you, however if you are like me and you essentially got a Cotchin in team and no Beams and Pendlebury, it is a big turn around and you also got both Mitchell's Franklin, Rioli in squad it hurts when one of your few premium mids does not score to what you paid for him and then others with Beams for example get good scores and jump on a cheaper Cotchin later. Even if Cotchin comes good now it also means those that always had Pendles and Beams have destroyed me if they also jump on Cotchin about now. Having said that, I heard he maybe injured and out this week. On his own he does not hurt but if you know he is in your team at expense of someone like Beams, Pendles or Gray being in there. I suspect you are a coach with at least one of those guys so his below par effort has not hurt you as much as it has hurt me. If I did not pick Cotchin and Dale Thomas in my mids at start of season and got at least Beams in I would not be hurting as much by a long shot.

I hear you Oz. The butterfly effect...in my case it was Cotchin/JPK instead of a Pendles/Shuey(or similar) and when you put it in terms of Cotchin vs Beams it would definately sting. Glad to see you still going for some joy in the season and may Mitchell come back soon and go a lazy 60 + possessions. :)
