Thanks Rowsus. How does this sound:
Round 10 - Oxley > Hodge & Tarrant > Buddy. $36,700 left. **Actually Clark might be better to trade out given his injury - Tarrant can be utilised during byes???
Round 12 - Brown > Hamling & Rocky to Lewis. ~$80K left.
Leaves me with Cripps, CEY, Miller, Saad and McIntosh as decent cash cows to work with. I count 4.5 upgrades after that. If another decent downgrade option presents during the byes then I should be able to facilitate another upgrade.
My biggest question is do I spend all that coin on Hodge or should I look at getting a cheaper option to save some money for other upgrades?

Looks good, and even though it is overpaying for Hodge, you can probably afford to overpay for one or two Prems, as long as they are filling a high position ie D/M/R/F1-2. The cheaper player is always an option, but you'd need to look at relative difference. Will the other Prem you get, by going a cheaper option than Hodge, outscore the option you are "coupling" Hodge with? It doesn't have to be this week, but when you use the money. Maybe you could get a better Mid than Lewis with the spare change, but will that Mid outscore Lewis by more than Hodge will outscore the alternative cheaper player?
If you think you can negotiate the byes without a donut, and Clark on your bench, use Tarrant, if you think it could be tight, use Clark.
