My first call for feedback. Have at it!
The rookies are placeholders. I have the DPP links set up so whoever fills the gaps will basically be a playing rookie with DPP status.
I have really tried to avoid the top echelon of scorers from 2015. In my first iteration I had the likes of Shaw and Ablett but I think the money can be better spent elsewhere.
After reading Rowsus' analysis of the past few winners I have tried my best to avoid chasing points and instead have looked for value premiums across the board.
Daniel Rich is one player sure to draw criticism. At the moment he is in there on gut feel alone. I keep taking him out and putting him back. Brisbane had their top tier players ravaged by injury last season. Hanley, Beams, Rockliff to name a few. My gut says he is capable of big scores and having the A graders around him will help his output.
Kolodjashnij is one pick I really like. I was critical of him early last year but then read Eade's comments about being played out of position early and finding his spot late. He is ceiling is huge, and like Rich he regains players like Ablett, O'Mera, Swallow, Prestia etc.
Mumford could become Martin, but I like him as a POD. I have him every year so I am well aware of how injury prone he is, but I'm also aware of his enormous ceiling. I think the young talent around him is better than the young talent at Brisbane, and you might have seen me constantly posting about how much ruck scores are impacted by the players at their feet!
Anyway.. feedback welcome.
