I have absolutely no idea what im doing this week... View attachment 2815

As you can see I am able to sufficiently cover beams and stewart with the only donut being Nankervis in the ruck.
With 158'000 in the kitty I have a couple of options

1. Trade Hampton to EVW (net the 175k) and then turn Parfitt into any premium ruck which isnt Mumford (Grundy McEvoy or Martin) and then miss out on Parsons which i dont want to do. This option then lets me cover Nanks donut.
2. Go with my original plan before the carnage and double down. Turn Hampton and Parfitt into EVW and Parsons. Net the 458k and try and chase the points I lose this week with a double upgrade next week.
3. Trade Beams to Parsons and then Parfitt to any ruck premo. Hopefully McNeice is available in the coming weeks since I will miss out on EVW.

I dont want to trade in a premium ruck because as we all know being on this thread there is no clear ruck choices. However with all the carnage this week, I feel its a great opportunity to shift up the rankings and hopefully into the top 1500 if I am able to field a full side (currently sitting 3400).

Any feedback or advice would be awesome!!
Good luck to everyone.
You could also go Hampton to Parsons via Adams and Parfitt. And then Butler to Premo Ruck.

Puts all your promo's back on the lines you ultimately are wanting them.

Sound advice!!
That solves the Parsons dilemma, now to find the right premo ruck....

I though Toby Greene was still a mid/fwd so I could cover him with Balic. Looks like I'm eating a donut.

I have all of Stewart, Newman, Beams, Hibberd D/M, Pickett, Strnadica, Greene, Nank, Eddy and Parfitt

It's a challenge.

When you had for two weeks planned to trade Brandon Matera out this week as a stepping stone to The Bont, but with Newman adding to the list of outs suddenly you only have 20 players so need to keep Matera to avoid a donut..... so probably lose 25k if he scores 60 this week.... Never again doing a steeping stone manoeuvre like that!!!

Then you figure out that most other trade combos you want to try leave you 10 to 30k short of bring in Bontempelli......

No friggin idea what I doing now.
Newman out has screwed what I can do to fund Jacobs to rucks. Parfitt was going to do it but now it looks like I need to trade a defender which is not helping me at all for Jacobs.

Aight - think I'm set for this week.

Otten -> Shaw
Beams -> Pendles

Obviously an issue with Stewart, Newman, Parfitt and Watson all outs but shouldn't have any donuts. Concerned with Hampton types on field though...

Any doubters?

Worthwhile trading Newman to EVW now?? He still has cash to make but dont want another non-playing rookie to pair with Cameron and Eddy
Absolutely no way in my opinion.

If EVW gets dropped next week, then what?

What a completely Dayne Beams week for Dayne Beams to get injured in a Dayne Beams way with a very Dayne Beams prognosis.

Think I have decided on Beams -> Pendles and copping the donut rather than trading in a ruck premo.
While a donut is definitely not ideal, the Nank will be back next week and I would rather trade someone in that fills me with confidence like Pendles rather than a Shane Mumford type with a bad injury history.
Might be the wrong call but time will tell

stuff it

sick of rookies

Newman to Heater
Was considering trading Hampton but now considering Newman to EVW. With McVeig back seems Newman( whilst still having money to make) might not get a solid run of games prior to the bye.

@ Maccas Marvels

My initial plan was Hampton to Heater , so hopefully Hampton can kick on and make some more coin.

I have Stewart and Macreadie so hopeful they might get a few more games , before I trade one for Scheer (???) in Round 10 and get Adams back in my defence.

Have you considered Berry instead of EVW ?

Then you've made 140k
Fair point.

I'd rather bank on Newman getting a gig again soon and saving a trade as he hasn't been the worst Swan getting around by any stretch of the imagination.

I will still go Parfitt to Parson. But my second trade is now a source of confusion. Luckily I don't have to make the decision until tomorrow.

I'd pretty much decided on Beams, to Ryder - against my earlier promise to avoid him - in order to cover a ruck donut. Wait, I'll explain.

Logic being: he is good for around 80-95 every week, with the chance to go big every now and then. Has a good history of staying on the park, outside suspension. R/F to swing with Nank, adding flexibility in general, and especially during the bye rounds. His bye is easily covered by Nank, given he'd be my only Port/GC player and he would be available for every main bye round. Finally, I'm loathe to spend any more on rucks, and he is scoring pretty much spot on his price, and I can use the cash I save on upgrading premos I want on other lines. (I still have to get rid of O'Meara!)

Now that I'm short in the defence - Newman!!! - I have no idea what I'm doing. I have to munch a donut either in defence or in the rucks.

I could bring Adams in for Beams, so that I don't lose my D/M link, but I have too many R13 Premos already. Or else bring in EVW and bank the money for next week, but lose my M/D link.

Reaching out for assistance here - any would be appreciated.

If you like the trade don't let losing a link stop you.

You can still move any DPP's when trading anyway.

Trade Hampton vs trade Newman/Stewart for EVM(jks EVW apparently)?

Trading 1 of the later 2 allows me to loophole EVW and hampton this week, before I trade Hampton out next week.

However the later 2 probably has more cash to make.

I like the logic of going to Ryder.

He seems to have a pretty low variation in scoring, with not too many real shockers.

I'm going to give him some serious consideration tonight, cheers!!!
