Him & Simpson helped save my round!
Hey Row, i have a very big decision to make early on, Libba went down and as he was my ticket to Dangerfield i now see it necessary to trade him down and up 1 of Fyfe, Bont, Sloane to Danger.
I know this may sound reactionary and i think it very unlikely i ditch Fyfe but i already had concerns on the other 2 before i picked them!
I remember your stats about Bontempelli and that he only scores well in games the Bulldogs are competitive in i.e win/lose by 14 points either way, now i am not sure if Libba going down helps or hinders him more but if the Bulldogs are not going to be a competitive team this year i think i need to flick him asap.
Sloane: I watched him carefully against the Bombers and it wasn't just Gibbs attending more stopages/center bounces it was also the positioning, when both where at a center bounce i noticed Gibbs always had prime position to get in first and Sloane hung back, it wasn't until ''dire straights'' in the last quarter when they sent Sloane in and he looked back to being the main guy with Crouch, now Adelaide lost but unless they restructure after one loss (which seems unlikely) Sloane is going to continue to suffer because of Gibbs. Lastly but not least, I didn't expect Sloane to really kick of early anyway as he plays 2 of the 4 teams that hard tagged him last year in rounds 3 and 4 but i thought after that he had a great run until Melbourne.
Any/all of your thoughts and observations would be greatly welcomed
Feel free to be blunt as it may help me!
P.S How did your team go this week anyway, hope you got off to a flyer.
