Not what you want to hear if Gray is in your team.

NEW Port Adelaide ruckman Scott Lycett was interviewed on Adelaide radio
http://www.portadelaidefc.com.au/news/2019-02-05/the-best-bits-scott-lycett-

Scott Lycett on what has impressed him at Port Adelaide:
“...…….In the forward line, I’m really excited to play with Charlie (Dixon) and Robbie Gray, who is one of the legends of Port Adelaide so I’m looking forward to putting on the guernsey with him.…...…...”
Taken Gray put of my fwd line - this news plus recovery from a knee clean out makes him more of an upgrade target methinks.

Hey guys,

Currently have Darling in my team and looking for someone to talk me out of it.

Two injury effected games of -1 and 14. Average of 96.5 (including finals) without these games. Has a pretty good injury history. Great early draw (but hoping he is a keeper) and no reason West Coast shouldn't do really well again this year. Maybe benefits from hands in the back and 6-6-6 rule?

Please save me from key position disease :(

Wouldn’t read too much into it mate, been doing plenty of training with the midfield group.
Good to hear, thanks.

I've been assuming Gray will play some forward time in any case. Only Ollie mentioned in the mids too, so plenty of minutes unallocated!

Jeez Toby Greene... I can already feel I will be typing your name in anger this year, but what a bargain. F4.
Looked at it so many times .... F4 is my hardest spot to fill at the moment ....

He's actually very rarely been injured before last year! If he's declared fit for round 1, I reckon he's a safe 100k profit.
Safe for 100k profit over how many weeks.... could say the same for many rookies ...

F4 is one I am also finding problematic. I dont have the $ to go for an established premium however there are plenty of options. There are those returning from injury (JJK, Lynch, Greene and Dahniher) and also breakout candidates (Gresh, Billings, Worpel, Petrevski-Seton).
I got stitched up last year when I started a potential breakout in Petracca at F4 and ended up having him at F7 by the end of the year, copping all of his low scores. While Gresham is in my team currently, going for a Greene/Daniher type as a stepping stone isnt the riskiest option imo... that is if they are fit and named for Rd 1.

Just noticed Newnes at $356k as an M/F. Any interest at all?

Had a down year last season after having his first interrupted preseason it seems (knee surgery).

Usually only at the 88-90 avg mark.

Probably not worth it as his best seasons are just short of a keeper but he is technically about 20 ppg underpriced?

Better durability history than Greene too - hasn’t missed a game in five years!

Must admit I've considered nearly all of the players you've mentioned and SPP is the one I like the most. Not saying I'll go done that path ... looks like a bit of a lottery this year but if you can nail it could set you up well ...

Plenty of interest from me .., frustrating player to own. His best is good enough along with Dahl ... just don't know what you're going to get as consistency is a moot point.

Kieron Jack is $ 310,600.00 F/M

I think he fell off the same cliff as Hanneberry

Currently have Darcy Moore at F4 , with Rozee & Burgess in defence (and Wingard in my mids)

Burgess , Cavarra , Corbett , McAdam , Parker , Rozee , Setterfield seem the popular forward rookies at the moment whether they are named Rd 1 is another thing.

He would be my 14th “prem

Don’t do it to yourself.
I honestly thought he would have retired at the end of last season , geez he was good in his prime.

Only noticed him when I was going through different price ranges.
