I dont want to read too much into JLT1 but where did Robbie Gray play a majority of his time against Adelaide? Was it forward or in the mids?
Gray's knee soreness hasnt been too concerning for me as of yet, especially as he played JLT1. However with some rookies impressing in the midfield is there a chance that he doesnt get as much midfield time as I anticipate and they manage him early on in the year?
Played pretty much pure forward and will be spending a fair bit of time in the middle this year according to the coaches.

He is risky at that price with his durability and age creeping up now but wouldn’t read anything into JLT 1.

But yeah still a concern for mine around his fitness and ability to play 20+ games whilst still playing a fair bit in the middle.

A bit left field but also thinking of Boak as an F4 instead of Gray.
Durability big tick and with no Wines is it possible that his time in the midfield increases?
Last year he spent 76% of his game time up forward compared to 58% in 2017.

With so many breakout candidates at F4 this year, I actually dont mind the look of Boak - has a consistent scoring pattern and at worst will be a reliable 85-90 scorer. If he can string some games in the middle then he could go 95-100, slightly increase in value and then when Wines comes back I can trade him to the breakout candidate that looks the most promising once the dust settles.

Apart from those issues he’s 31 this year and it’s now 3 years since he went over 100 for a season.

Not a great pick this year for mine

Atm I’m going with Walters as f3

Without Neale he could push up more often and was regularly attending the centre bounces in jlt1

......and Fyfe........and Curnow...........and Blakely

Just wish for an injury free season, then 95 will take care of itself.

Still pondering this equation ...

- So Neale gone leaves a gaping hole ...
- Walters, Mundy etc get extra MID time ...
- Who gets the FWD minutes ....
- If Fyfe goes down .... what on earth happens ....

No Menegola in the new poll? He’s the only one for me outside those other two. Mundy has been in and out.
Oops. Hadn't really seen him discussed tbh and was just trying to include the more popular guys.

We really need to be able to add more than 10 poll options but haven't gotten around to looking into it (yet).

I’m tempted to add JJK or Daniher to the poll but I suspect that more people are probably considering Gresham or Boak :p

It would be fitting for 2018 owners of Billings to avoid him this year, for him to then dominate and average 100+. That would be the ultimate slap in the face.
Should do what I did with Yeo....? Get burnt 3 years straight before he finally came good

Lol I actually remember that funnily enough.

I can’t bring myself to pick Billings personally but I can see the appeal. Ticks a few boxes etc
