@7/11
is it worth playing Warner at 5 ? and get him away from Broad.
no idea who would open though
EDIT
Labuschagne to open with Bancroft/Harris
I'd probably run with Khawaja at opener. Has looked good in nearly every innings and just gets out to brain fades generally. Warner just having to adjust to red ball cricket again and is in probably the worst place to come back to it in England.
Broad is bowling brilliantly to him and it might just be a case of Warner becoming more aggressive and trying to punish any loose deliveries that are bowled at him so that the pressure is back on the England bowlers. He's been very tentative after a couple of good deliveries are bowled at him, but if he can nail 1-2 of his signature backfoot slaps through cover early doors, I think we'll see him come back to form very quickly.
As I've said previously, I think we missed a trick not having Burns in the squad as the extra top order cover, but I've been wrong about Labuschagne who has done a very good job thus far.
I'm not as worried about a just returned from injury Anderson as I am about Woakes, who is playing 3rd fiddle to Archer and Broad at the moment and could well be the player who finds his way into the match this innings. His first spell in this 2nd innings is going to be crucial to England's chances in this test. If he fires, we could find a way to lose this test, but he's on the chopping block should Anderson be fit next test (even though I think this is England's best 3 pronged attack currently).
