[Toothless Tigers]

Out of interest, is there a source you’re using to check on the injury games? AFL Tables indicates his TOG was slightly low in rounds 6 and 11, but not anywhere near enough to justify the very low scores.

I imagine he may have copped a knock or something early but tried to play through - there used to be a site that was great for this info, but it stopped updating about two years ago.

Sydney: Callum Sinclair came from the field in the first half with a cut to the head but was able to resume his battle with Shane Mumford after getting it taped up.
GWS: Lachie Whitfield copped a corked thigh in the second term and while he played out the game with it heavily strapped, the star Giant battled to run and spent long periods playing as a deep forward. Sam Reid looked to have suffered an ankle injury late in the game.

The good thing is that Whitfield has put big numbers together either forward, back or through the middle

I'm not worried about this. Avg 117 with either conigs or kelly in team and 122 (4 games) with them both last year.

Doesn't a fit midfield make Whitfield better? Being very much an outside, uncontested jet, he should go even better if there's more blokes to do the heavy lifting letting him get the rewards on the outside.

I've seen plenty mention Devon Smith and Jack Steven but I reckon Hugh Greenwood will feature in plenty of teams after JLT, Darcy Parish may also be there, could go in with a value forward line.

I like like it but I think you're structure is a bit messed up, no big deal though.

Brander to Fwd, opens up D/F link, Berry to someone like Gould.

Greenwood and Cockatoo swap.

If you're happy with that many MP's then go for it, but I think 2-3 speculative MP's is the absolute max for me.

Whilst there's some very good value amongst those, and some that are rookie priced, I feel that there's just too much risk and you'll end up burning trades/losing cash gen by going with all of them.

Ceglar is an interesting Ruck/Fwd option. There is talk that Clarko wants to continue his experiment of McEvoy playing down back. In the 8 games Ceglar played without Big Boy or with Big Boy not rucking at all over 2018/19 he averaged 89. Priced at $417000 he could be an option, especially to provide peace of mind for NicNat owners.

Candidly if I saw these players in the RMT thread, I'd be inclined to try to steer you towards something much more "solid" ... but I see your record is outstanding, so maybe a less textbook approach can work, if you're a very good judge of the mid pricers, say?

Nope, I’m a GnR traditionalist and won’t move to far from that although this year I do find myself drawn towards Houston, Smith and Dawson but pretty confident I’ll probably just take one in my starting squad.
I always look at my previous years starting structure and steer myself towards that when lock out approaches because it has traditionally worked for me.
