Dont get me wrong im stoked that footy starts tomorrow but it seems strange that the season has been revised to 17 games yet round 1 is going ahead as planned... either postpone the season for 5 weeks or keep it scheduled as is.

I would say so as there is only 14 non finals in SC

I don't know. Probably necessary given the uncertain fixture/player rotation but I think a reduction down to 24-26 trades would've been better.

So price changes will be more inflated either poitive or negative through a 2-round average? One good game and loads of cash but a low scoring game more pain? Or are they just saying price changes will commence a round earlier but still working on a 3 round average?

I'm so confused, has taken me over 10 years to get my head around the game and now I'm back where I started

Just going back to this. They have (kinda) confirmed it's similar to the BBL formula so 'first' score is what the player is priced at; so no wild price increase after the 2nd game.

I would've liked to be able to use up to 3 trades a week. That way, when team selections get really messy we have options. Having 3 to use a week also forces us to use them wisely..kinda.

I'm with you mate, I've decided to back my gut on certain players, and also play a more risky brand of SC to my traditional very strict Guns and Rookies approach.

I'm just thankful on the phone app they fixed the format compared to what they had for the Marsh Series, it was a woeful setup during that for the team lineups.

Just a random thought. Will matches now be played at a ridiculous pace because of the 16 minute quarters and if so, could that lead to more injuries, or will the busier schedule down the track ensure that with reduced recovery time, playing at that top speed won't be possible.

So do we think this will significantly boost scores for players who have a large impact on the result? Goalkicking midfielders like Danger and forward/mids like Greene could really benefit.
