Pay $10 at the local pub, and see bands like Hunters and Collectors, Hoodoo Gurus, Men At Work, Dragon, The Church, Mondo Rock, The Spinners, Midnight Oil, The Angels, Rose Tattoo, Australian Crawl, The Sports, Divinyls, TISM, Wendy and The Rockets, Mental As Anything, Models.
An incredible time to be a young beer thirsty lad!

I was a drummer in a band when I was a teenager, only had the basic set, Snare drum, Bass, Large Tom Tom, Small Tom Tom, Hi-hat and Cymbal. Oh yeah, bought a Cowbell to play the Rolling Stones 'Honky Tonk Woman'.

Here's a pretty cool song from just over a year ago by Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters/Nirvana)... It's a 23 minute instrumental where Dave plays every instrument on the recording. Pretty cool video.

I read "........Like many other Big Pig songs, "Breakaway" features plentiful drums and percussion, but no guitars. "
I had to replay the video clip and yep, no guitars!
