If I was Roos/the new coach of Melb, I would be trading Watts for as much as I could get. Sadly, I don't think there is a future at Melb for him, just too much baggage to deal with - both him and Melb need a new start.
Your comment made me remember this article I read in the Herald Sun a month ago.

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/a...writes-paul-roos/story-fni5f91a-1226690406107

In it he lists his best 22. Watts is named on the wing. He also mentions that Melbourne needs to hang onto him and look at trading out their early picks for some mids to improve the team. That forward line will probably look scary good in a couple years time.

Sadly for my FDL team Dunn isn't listed in his best 22 :(

Hmmm, thanks Fresh - interesting article.

I stand by my statement, all in my opinion of course :)

Well if Roos ends up changing his mind about coaching, who knows, maybe he'll change his mind about not trading out Watts :)

JOM has won the rising star. Received 44 of possible 45 votes from Crouch and Wines. Can't wait to see what he becomes especially when Gaz moves on and GC are a force.

I believe Riccuito was the one that gave him 4 :p

Would be nice in 2014, we could all access Live SC scores from Herald Sun at a fair price.
Paying $16/month to access (after the $1 first 28 days intro) is highway robbery.

Maybe even incorporate SC Live Scores as part of the SC Gold.

Cancelled my sub on Sunday. They have to change its a rip off it but if they don't i will be sucked back into getting it again just for live SC points. Make it a one off payment.

Daniel Rich has been named as the high profile Brisbane Lions player who tipped a man out of his wheelchair, and threw his kebab at him while he lay helpless on the ground.
Seriously what is going on lol, "Error in Judgement" just does not cut it anymore. If this is true the book should be thrown at him.

Is that the price? I'm still only paying $11 a month.

Paul Roos confirmed as Demons coach...
Melbourne has completed a coaching coup, with Paul Roos to lead the club for at least the next two seasons.
The Demons confirmed the appointment of Roos on Friday morning.
Roos, 50, has signed for two years, and has an option for a third. It's understood he will paid more than $1.5 million a season.
Roos led the Swans to the 2005 premiership and into the '06 grand final before stepping down after the 2010 campaign.

He has been on the radar of Carlton, West Coast and Brisbane in recent seasons but has agreed to help the struggling Demons rebuild.
Roos will be officially announced as coach at noon press conference at the MCG.

Now we've got Roos, all we need are some players. Congrats to Peter Jackson for being persistent and getting his man.

We'll trade you Ricky Dyson for some draft picks :D

But in all seriousness, great news for the Dees. I'm not sure how much he'll be able to do in two years but he'll definitely put a good plan in place.

Look what Ken Hinkley did at Port in one pre-season!

Its not just Paul Roos who will make a big difference to the Dees.

One of the biggest factors being brought to the Dees will be the 'Leading Teams' philosophy that has seen Geelong and Sydney develop such a strong club culture and prosper for so long. Roos is a strong advocate of Leading Teams - this would have been a huge factor in Roos' decision. The Dees would have to commit 100% to the program for Roos to sign. It would have been a key discussion during his meeting with the leadership group last week.

Melbourne FC need a major culture shift, and Roos with Leading Teams is the way they will do that.

I expect to see a united, committed Dees team playing for each other next season!
