Rowsus, once again the voice of reason. You are exactly right, everyones first reaction is to feel hurt or offended, and in most situations it wasn't meant that way. I also think that alot of the so called hurt or offended aren't really hurt or offended but just use it as an excuse to jump on the bandwaggon and get some attention for themselves, especially celebrities. B-graders with flagging careers are always keen to jump on the latest story to try and put themselves back in the limelight. Not saying it is always the case, but I think in many cases it is. Unfortunately this is the world we now live in.
BREAKING NEWS: 3 (Further) Roosters are struggling with temperatures 30 minutes before the game.

Huge, Huge ramifications for all Fantasy formats. This will happen in AFL, no doubt.

Nervous times.

7 reporting the SA teams expected to stay in the hub for Round 6 & 7 , then enough so enough

Hoping the Govt allows them to return home without having the 14 day isolation rule and allow "normal" H and A games
Port as they have 1 less opponent in the Hub, may have to go down to NSW and play Swans + Giants then and have Victorian teams come to Adelaide oval then finish off in Victoria.

might be able to still go to Shanghai :)

Auld will have a fixturing nightmare on his hands if the SA & WA governments don't relax/lift the border restrictions.

Think they said they were going to try and announce Round 6 & 7 after the conclusion of Round 2.

Yeh the crows sadly don't play Eagles in the 1st month so may end up flying straight to WA or play them in week 6 at the Hub.

If there are 30,000+ protesters in Melbourne over the weekend don't expect the borders to be opened in a hurry.
allowing 4,000 + in Adelaide

soon having a travel "bubble" including Tassie , ACT , NT & WA

Singapore & NZ on the horizon

given up trying to understand it all

shopping mall must have 1000+ signs explaining social distancing , maybe people just can't read anymore ?

they even have diagrams on how far to stay apart , but still too difficult for people to comprehend or understand

staggering

was reading some stats yesterday from {health.gov.au,]and if i have understood the graph correctly infection rates from citizens tested, under 0.5 percent infection rate, and of those testing positive 98% are mild cases. Now the NRL played 2 weeks during the start of this, did any player test positive to the deadly corona.? if this 14 day isolation is still going on in 6 weeks time, the country will have far more serious problems that not watching football.

because it makes no sense........internal borders should already be open. Are the state governments waiting for no citizen to ever get a fever ever again?? it will be a long wait.

I think it is all part of a secret plan to form a new country ?

sounds like 90% of the state is going camping for the long weekend so curious to see what happens if there is a sudden spike in cases , if not then open everything back up and try and get back to normality.

if we are allowed to march in protest then we should be able to attend the footy.

It seems though they are waiting for 1-2 months of consecutive cases before reopening.

Surely we must be at the stage now if people contract the virus they are isolated or hospitalised depending on the severity.

Expect people will only get more and more impatient quicker and quicker.

I am a NZer who appreciates AFL. Very rare I know. We have now had 14 consecutive days of no new or potentially new cases. This is a much more rigid standard than AUS. We have had 21 deaths and currently have one existing case. The biggest problem stopping us getting clear is the proximity of community action; e.g. people during the BLM protests. I can understand our govt being reluctant to open the border given the deprivations we have been through.

I personally do not want to go back to lockdown because of precipitous close proximity; be it at the footy or at a legitimate protest. Govts sometimes exhibit double standards. - protests but no crowds at footy. I'd rather accept two more more weeks of lockdown and some crowd free footy. rather than risk the gains we have made.

6 SHARKS have failed their first temperature check

Yet to undergo secondary check.

They may not be able to field a full side..................

This drama is happening nearly every game.

UPDATE: They all passed after spending time in a cool room.

Yep, spend some time in a freezer, that will lower temperatures, regardless if you have the Corona Virus or not.
