Need Mr Gawn to find a way to get some more possessions. Can't see him going above 130 without minimum 15+ disposals tonight
Ok - I have to admit, as a non owner of Gawn, I have adopted defense plan : I placed a 15+ disposal bet on him. Knowing my luck at betting, I thought it would be the best way to keep him low. Seems to work to far

Just having a look at that elbow from Oliver, and didn't look good, but took another close look and it seems his elbow made contact with the shoulder first then rode up over Ladham's shoulder, then made contact with head, so, maybe not intentional. Low impact anyway.

Can someone explain Gawns' score to me please ?

Apart from receiving 6 free kicks I have seen a mark , 3 handballs and maybe a tackle.

If you touch someone is that a tackle ?

Probably 2-3 HO have gone direct to a team mate.

Cheers

4 tackles for Gawn.

The definition of a tackle is...

When a player stops an opposition player with possession of the ball from getting his kick or handball away in a legal manner, or reduces the effectiveness of the opposition's disposal.

So to get a tackle stat, you don't necessarily have to wrap the bloke up.

For example, during the second term Oliver stuck out an arm which made contact with Amon (I think) as he was getting a handle away, the hand ball ineffective as it went to a Melbourne player, this resulted as a tackle stat for Oliver.

EDIT: 6 of Gawn's 7 possessions have been contested, which helps also.
