Me too!
I don't think he's costing us a lot though. Probably just looking to put an extension on his house, or put a pool in!
Good on him, he’s earnt the right to go out on his own terms, and to have a shot at winning a flag before he does.

I own him in Ultimate League and unfortunately his JS doesn’t seem to be what I had expected!

St Kilda has recommitted to young midfielder Jack Bytel, signing him for another two years.

The new deal will see the former Calder Cannons skipper at the Saints until at least the end of 2022.

After a back injury saw him slide to No.41 in the 2018 NAB AFL Draft, Bytel's long rehabilitation meant he did not debut until round 11 this season.

He has played three games.

Essendon has sensationally sacked GM of Football Dan Richardson on the eve of the trade period.

According to SEN Chief Sports Reporter Sam Edmund, he was told on Wednesday night that his services were no longer required.

“It is a big casualty this one,” he said on AFL Trade Radio.

“Paul Brasher promised a big review, he canvassed their football department after their horrific sesaon they had and Dan Richardson has been sacked.”

Former Essendon defender Brendon Goddard, who is a personal friend of Richardson's, said he was surprised by the decision.

“(That's a) little bit (of a) surprise, I ask the question if he is the biggest problem? They’re in position to make change, Paul Brasher the review has started, and he’s got his first victim,” Goddard said on AFL Trade Radio.

“Dan is a good friend of mine and he was my manager.

“I didn’t get to see him enough as a footy manager, as a friend I can be a bit blinded as to whether he was a problem or good at his job.

"Hard for me to say anything. I just question if he is part of the problem, not the problem.”

Richardson joined Essendon at the end of 2017.

SAINT ‘TOURS BOMBERS’ FACILITIES’
Essendon’s busy trade period could get even busier with St Kilda midfielder Seb Ross reportedly touring the club’s facilities in recent weeks.

The 27-year-old will be a restricted free agent at the end of next season but according to SEN’s Garry Lyon, could move before his contract ends.
“My 8.30 man is suggesting that Seb Ross may have wandered through the Essendon set-up (in previous weeks),” Lyon said on SEN Breakfast.
“He is (Tim Watson’s) nephew and he’s apparently wondering around (Essendon territory).”

Hawk stunner: Veteran wingman wants to join arch-rival Geelong
TRIPLE Hawthorn premiership wingman Isaac Smith will move to play for Geelong.
In a stunning move to begin free agency on Friday morning, the 31-year-old has indicated he wants to play for the Hawks' arch-rivals.
As an unrestricted free agent Smith will be free to walk to the Cats and will accept a two-year deal.

I honestly thought he would have chosen Melbourne for the extra year. Figured he was moving, just wasn't sure where.
