What a waste for the Roos. At his best he would be worth a first rounder no doubt, but with low motivation and being moved on his value is slashed. Just shows that keeping the list happy, uninjured and playing well is often as important as what you pay your players.
Agree. I understanding a club in North’s position trading players out with currency to regenerate. However 33 for Browny is disappointing. I would have preferred they kept him if that’s all they could get and back the new coach to get more from him.

I'm sort of glad the Hawks aren't getting involved in trades much this year, at least we are not making the team worse, like some clubs seem to be doing. There have been some odd choices this year.

I'm sure we'll still somehow stuff up with the draft selections instead.

Wonder how many clubs are now sitting back thinking about why they didn't atleast have a chat to Stephenson. Probably have a tough couple years at North but should see him hit form after that.
I would think the majority of clubs were thinking he was too "complicated" for what he gives you on the field.
Having said that, North have done well, and are one of the few clubs where he might fit!
