When is Houli expected to be right to play ?

If he is out does that open up a spot for Ralphsmith ?

Is Nyoun any realistic chance of getting senior games this season ?

They are talking like Houli is a Rd 1 chance but I can't see it.
That role is up for grabs without Markov,personally I'd see Naish in prime position after a couple of years in the system. Ralphsmith played all his junior footy wing/hf so I'd be surprised if he was thrown in to 1's in a new role.

Biggie is miles away but he was impressive in the 2's scratch match,just can't see a role for him yet barring injury.
He does take Lynch in training drills so you never know.

Thanks for the prompt and detailed reply.

The article on AFL.com.au mentioned Ralphsmith was "solid off half-back and being groomed as a potential replacement for Houli" so I got excited.

I'm sure it's true just doubt it's this year. He'll probably get a few games,as Naish & Egg did last year.
Not many young rookies have held their spot,only mature guys like Baker,Pickett & to an extent Aarts.

Time Hardwick had a clean out of some players hahaha and thought about SC more.

Is that statistic about the premiership side in VFL/AFL history still never having played all together again still true ?

Did anyone from last season's premiership side leave ?

Only lost guys who couldn't break in.
Still stands although Houli,Prestia & Lambert would all be doubtful Rd 1.
