Alright Bombers and Swans fans...Ned Cahill or Chad Warner?!
I like Cahill more for job security and scoring potential but if I trusted Horse to play Warner in the right position that would all switch and Warner is cheaper, so that's always nice.

To be fair to Horse, he didn't name Hayward or Sinclair so maybe there is some hope for him yet.

It's a lineball, fwiw, I have both and think they're two of the top rookies available.

So I got talked into picking Henry over Fullarton and Jones by a mate (don’t listen to your mates).

Assuming that there is a 3 round average for scores I’ll hold off trading him to see who pops up in the first two weeks then pick a forward rook to replace him.

Thoughts on who I should pick up?

Probably a lot easier to wait and see how all the other forward rookie options available go.

7 games left in the round , bit hard to tell yet

Jordan vs Jones (Ess)?

Leaning towards Jones for JS but Jordan has higher scoring potential. Is Jordan just holding Viney's spot for a week?

So is Powell unlikely to play considering they didn't name him? Will probably just go with a straight swap to Bruhn if that's the case.
Bruhn to me is one of few rookies that we can be fairly confident will actually keep playing, their smalls are non existent with Lloyd injured and Langdon moving on.

Have to pick Powell with how good he looked last weekend though.

Probably Jones, Jordon spent a hell of alot of time in the midfield last weekend and could only find his way to a score in the 30's, is the scoring output really there to justify punting on pretty average job security? Think he's the prime candidate to get dropped for Viney myself.

I agree with everything you've said but still think Jordon has the better role and there is obviously a reason Goodwin keeps picking him (besides the obvious that it's Goodwin...)

Looking at the Demons team I'd say you've got Harmes, Sparrow, Jordon, Rivers, Jones, Spargo, Pickett and ANB who are all on a weekly earn your spot, some are more secure than others but if Jordon outperforms any of that list I'd say he holds his spot and that's a thoroughly underwhelming set of competition (not that Jordon showed me anything in two preseason games).

Viney and foot issues is also a big concern given his history so I wouldn't bank on him rushing back in so could be a couple of weeks.

Jones is the safer player to be there in week 3 though, no doubt about it and he might surprise. At least gets the Hawks first up as well so that should help the confidence out.

I think both lines bat deep enough that you shouldn't be picking either of them to be honest but just answered the question directly.

Ollie Henry instead then or someone else jump to mind? There aren't a whole lot of other options that look like they'll play most games even if their side is getting killed and it feels like they'll all score equally well/badly.
hope you did not go henry!!
