I agree with everything you've said but still think Jordon has the better role and there is obviously a reason Goodwin keeps picking him (besides the obvious that it's Goodwin...)
Looking at the Demons team I'd say you've got Harmes, Sparrow, Jordon, Rivers, Jones, Spargo, Pickett and ANB who are all on a weekly earn your spot, some are more secure than others but if Jordon outperforms any of that list I'd say he holds his spot and that's a thoroughly underwhelming set of competition (not that Jordon showed me anything in two preseason games).
Viney and foot issues is also a big concern given his history so I wouldn't bank on him rushing back in so could be a couple of weeks.
Jones is the safer player to be there in week 3 though, no doubt about it and he might surprise. At least gets the Hawks first up as well so that should help the confidence out.
