I reckon the Martin and English combination and the depth give the Dogs the edge.
Neale, Lyons, Clug, Zorko, Bailey & Berry is a great group but I think Macrae, Bont, Smith, Hunter, Libba, Dunkley and Treloar just goes that bit deeper and that's not even counting Lipinski or McLean who can't even get a run through there but who I'd take both of over Robinson (love Robbo though!) at this point (if fit!).
Positive for the Lyons is their group are such workhorses that they dont need the depth though I would argue you can make the same case for the Dogs group, they just happen to have it.
Think the biggest difference between the two teams are Bevo vs ***an, which has been significant over the past couple of years, and the small forwards, which in the modern game is as important as any position outside the midfield where the ability to create goals from inside 50 ground balls is probably the most important goal scoring mechanism in the game and the ability to retain it inside your own F50 until you can create that goal is probably the most important part of the game in general (Hence my hatred of Horse's philosophy of retain it in your D50...).
