Yes I believe Warner is a must have. Watched both his games and pre season, this guy can play. Definitely passed the eye test and SC test for me. Can't see him getting dropped anytime soon, arguably one of the first players picked to be fair. So yes, get Warner in. Looking like a top 3 rookie at this stage
Yep. Second in Sydney's player ratings on the weekend which is probably a better measure of job security.

How do I find a players heat map please?
Go to https://www.afl.com.au/

Across the top underneath all the clubs, there are 5 drop down menus, select the 4th one across - Stats :-

Select AFL StatsPro

You can then search any player, any position etc

Say you select Impey & want his heat map

You get 3 options after selecting him :-

With Sharp being dropped, not sure if I still want to proceed trading Jones out for Jordon.
Feels like I need to keep whoever gets named.

Any chance that Jones gets dropped this week those in the know?
I’d hope not. He was pretty good in his first game, just needed to finish. The whole team was putrid + last week. He’s the future. Should only miss if he needs a rest in season 1.

Jones out > Impey or Berry more important?
Berry, as a Matt Crouch owner (draft) there are a few good weeks left for him. CBA attendances great, low TOG bad, but at least he is fresh and makes an impact, shouldn't go lower, potential to go higher if a game pops up where they are wrecked by injuries or develops a stronger fitness base as the season progresses. A very solid selection. Impey is fine, but the efficiency of your cash is better with Berry.

What has Gaff done that warrants backing him in so far? Got him in DT and I can't see how I can justify holding him at this point and as @chewy posted earlier in the thread, the style change may have hurt how he gets some of his touches -
I guess the debate is similar to that being applied to Neale. However, there are more compelling reasons to keep Gaff cf. Neale. There is no injury cloud (rumoured or otherwise) over Gaff. His issue is purely working out how to profit from the new game style. Given his elite endurance and durability, I'm prepared to give him a couple of weeks to do that. He actually scored ok in the latter part of the WB game playing one of the teams who have strangled opposition for SC points over the first two rounds. Unfortunately, he's got Port this week, who did a similar number on the Bombers (1911 v 1390) last week. But at least it's a home game on wide expanses of Optus.

Thanks Shannon. What do you think about trading you in. The new rules should suit you. Taking all the kick ins. How's your body feeling?

Thanks for your reply mate! I haven’t had the chance to see any of the swans games, so haven’t been able to see him, plus he’s kinda flown under the Errol radar! Haha

Out Caldwell ($348,600) in Tex ($298,200)
Out Scott ($102,400 ) in Impey ($212,800)

Was originally going to trade in Jordon and Warner but upon further reflection can see that in the forward line, Tex and Impey will potentially still make money but sitting at f5 and f6 they also provide a chance, a longshot chance, to become keepers or at least closely monitored long term prospects...probably more so than the two rookies Jordon and Warner. Forced trades are already causing me some concern.

I think you're talking yourself into fool's gold. The chance of Tex and impey becoming keepers is so small that it shouldn't factor into your thinking. Jordon and warner are likely to be vitally important pieces of the cash-making puzzle. I think you should keep it simple and grab them.

Definitely take Jordon & Warner.

They will make more money and like Tex & Impey, won’t be keepers.

After attempting to sabotage my season at the first opportunity last week by completing the following trades:

Danger/Cahill > Caldwell/Stephenson

I am going to attempt to erase that move from my memory and play with a fairly straight bat and go:

Stephenson/Caldwell > Dunkley/Jordon

This will see me with all the 'best' rookies and will also see Neale remain in my team. I will also hold Fyfe. Could be a rocky old round

Would it be too early to go Hayden Young to Ridley or should we wait for some cash gen first?
