It's so hard trying to predict what will happen at the first race.

It's usually wise to lock in at least 1 Merc at the start as they are usually hard to grab otherwise, I thought their was value in 2 Red Bull's to start the season with their rumored improvement.

Obviously a long way to go in the season to see if it was wise avoiding the Merc's and Hamilton. I suspect it will come to bite me later on, lol

Pretty happy with my team's performance in round 1. Solid scores across the board except for Haas (at least they are very cheap and can't lose much value).

Speaking of value, I worked out the formula for price changes in this game many years ago. I'm happy to share some break even's heading into round 3 if others would be interested in that.

That would be great, any extra info would be good. (y)

Current trades:
Out: Aston Martin
In: Alpha Tauri

Drivers: L Hamilton (C), M Verstappen, L Norris and Y Tsunoda
Cars: McLaren, Ferrari, Alpha Tauri, Alfa Romeo

Considering dropping Verstappen to Riccardo allowing Alfa Romeo to Red Bull, but will likely hold off on the move.

Only just noticed they have changed the trading rules this season... 44 trades, and allowed to do up to 3 trades per round. Previously you could only do 2 trades per round.

Didn't make any trades, was happy to stick to my team from last round, wasn't banking on Tsunoda crashing out of Q1. All those who got rid of AT look to have benefitted, thought they'd have a good result at their home track.

If he can get up to mid table, you might actually be better off than if he'd qualified there! Four points an overtake is worth a lot more than qualifying 10th or whatever.

Made two trades for the round. As there usually aren't any late driver/team changes in F1, its now almost worth using two trades a round to chase the dollars in the early rounds, and then utilise upgrade trades.

My trades for this round:
Out: Perez & Haas
In: Gasly & Ferrari
