Unbelieveable win for Cam Smith, 8 under in the final round starting from 4 shots back, his putting was sublime and his caddy's decisions kept him in with a sniff all the way through, even though the front 9 was a struggle to keep up with the leaders.
Don't think I've ever watched a more enjoyable major final round than that in my life and I've been watching from when Foxtel first came to fruition. Kudos to Cameron Young who almost stole the victory with an eagle on the final hole, fantastic effort from him all day never giving up.
Poor old Rory couldn't buy a putt to save his life...another major slips through his fingers, maybe next year. :)

Well done to Cam Smith! Thought he might be in with a shot at the title, but didn't want to mozz him by tipping him for the win, so kept it to cheering for a generic Aussie winner. He deserved to win a major after how well he has been playing in the last year or two, hopefully it is the first of many.

Just wondering how much interest there might be in joining a PGA Tour Fantasy League I'm thinking of starting for the new season which starts a couple of weeks after the Fedex Cup Playo*** are over and done.
If you're not sure how it all works check out the rules format on this link https://fantasygolf.pgatour.com/
It's pretty easy, just picking 4 players and 2 bench players each tournament.
So basically looking for expressions of interest to join, it'd be nice to have at least 20 or so who are keen. The league will be on the main PGA Tour site but updates and results will be updated here by me each week.
Cheers peeps let me know if you're keen.

I think you'll struggle to get 20 people, especially with the comp starting when it does (you'll find the site dies down a lot during the AFL off season, except for the BBL topics). You'd possibly be surprised how many would be interested if you did start a comp though: even though there hasn't been much interest shown to date in response to your post, people would sign up.

I don't follow golf much at all, but I'd probably give it a go, as it seems to involve minimal time commitment. That suits me well at the minute.

Thanks for the response Ironhawk, yeah there doesn't seem to be much interest but who knows, if I build it, they might come lol
I've started a private league called SCS Golf League, it includes the Fedex cup playoff events which start tomorrow of which there are three, Fedex St Jude Championship, BMW Championship and the Tour Championship.
I'm thinking if anyone wants to join now and use these three events as practice to get the hang of it, go ahead because the new season schedule starts with the Fortinet Championship with starts around mid September.
I assume each Fantasy season re-sets when the new season starts because I didn't have the option to edit the schedule in the 2022-2023 season.

One of the main things to take note of is that each season is divided into 4 segments of time, and you can only pick a player 3 times in any segment, so it pays to do a little bit of research to see how the player you want to select has fared in the particular tournament you want to enter them into. I usually just do that by Googling 'PGA Tour results.'

Anyways, here's the link for people to join up so feel free to have a go one and all! :) and if you do join, use your SCS name so we know who eachother are, cheers.

Joined the practice league, but looks like I missed the start of the current tournament by an hour or so. I'll have a go at the next tournament. :)

Also missed the start....but will give it a crack
Cheers Frosty, the next few weeks are the Fedex cup playo*** so there's no cut made, in the regular season if one or two of your players miss the cut, you can replace them with your two bench players, also we're ten hours in front of the U.S so it's a good idea to probably get your players picked on the Wednesday in the new season to avoid being locked out of the week.
