It is rare that you can say a trade is a win / win but this one I think actually was.

Short term blues got a capt,, a browlow medallist, a leader.
A champion of the game.

Long term Eagles get a fwd who kicked 723 goals, a leader, a premiership player.
A champion of the game.

Both have left their mark on the AFL and will be fondled remembered by the fans and honoured for their contribution to the world's greatest game.

Definitely a win/win there Trigga, both great to watch at their best and JJK turned back the clock yesterday

Just a lazy 8 to finish off your career in front of home crowd. Fairly decent way to sign off. 👏

I’d say Kennedy. Premiership player that retired 7 years later. Midfielders are everywhere, 723 goals isn’t.

WCE also got pick 3 in the draft which they selected Chris Masten with who ended up playing 215 games for us & is a premiership player 😉

Masten was a much maligned player but he did play a crucial role in our 2018 premiership season playing as a defensive winger which enabled him to use his great strength which was his relentless gut running (won a lot of preseason time trials in his career).

Carlton needed Judd at that time so they would be happy but we did get a champion key fwd which is hard to find & a 215 game premiership player that played a crucial role in the 2018 season.

Judd before he got OP, was the most dynamic/ electrifying player from 2004 till 2007 that I have ever seen play …. the crowd at Subiaco oval were often left shaking their head at his brilliance.

Who would it be though?...Taberner or Lobb, not sure either would improve the Dees much but Lobb could be handy as a Ruck chopout / tall fwd.

Not sure what will get trade done, picks a couple of first rounders but with that likely to be mid teens won't be enough. Might have to also throw in one of their youngsters amiss or odriscoll. Be interesting to see what gets trade done.

Never thought about NOD or AMISS both decent players but prefer to keep Jacko Tongue in cheek with Andy and wouldn't get a mid gig anyway One thing that's great here trigg is the edit button Gator would love that Hope he comes over miss the silly old sod NDD

LOBB maybe not Tabera though more of a saints player

I understand that Lobb wants to move to (the city of) Melbourne anyway. The Dees may not be his preferred club, but otherwise it seems relatively neat. Somewhat assumes that Jackson (or Darcy) can kick more goals from next year onwards though.
