Hi Rowsus

Appreciate your thoughtson following

I have Dunstan Ellis Aish Michie Crouch M6-10
Pavlich Dixon Rohan Impey Honeychurch M 4-8

I think Tyson is too good to miss and Dixon too higher risk to keep .
I have enough coin to do crouch to Tyson or Dixon to zorko/Martin .....but can't do both trades.im happy with my rookie mids and only see crouch as the trade . Double edged sword stuff considering
I feel Crouch is Quality and will play his fair share of games .Dixon is playing more permanent forward and his depleted time in the ruck so far has and will affect his scores .also have Rohan injured and Honeychurch so no cover on bench as it stands.

Is this trade worth it?

Trade out JKH, move L.Taylor forward and pick M.Thomas for an instant cash grab. Could potentially make $150-200k in 3 weeks.

Gday mate, just wondering what your thoughts on cake are? Do you prefer chocolate or ice cream? lol

I believe it might be your birthday today??? If so, happy birthday mate. Have a great day.
If this is indeed the case mate, I reiterate IDIG's sentiments! Have a great day!

Thoughts on Todd Goldstein?
Currently have him, and wouldn't normally be considering trading him, however, as I am aware, his output has been hindered in the past when playing with another ruckmen (i.e. McIntosh in 2012) and with the recent inclusion of Currie to support Goldstein and the fact that he is about to plummet in price, would a trade to Mumford be reasonable? I see Mumford as having the potential to produce a 110+ average this year as I believe his 2012 & 2013 outputs were impacted by injury and also Sydney's increased usage of Mike Pyke (in some games in 2013, Pyke had more hitouts than Mumford, that's how much the load was shared between them), whereas at Sydney, Mumford is clearly the no.1 ruckman, and whilst there is also Giles, GWS seem to like having him up forward, occasionally taking ruck contests when Mumford needs a rest (similar to David Hale at Hawthorn).
What do you think Rowsus?

Yep, also wishing you cake and stuff :)
Thanks guys, yes it's true, I am 52 years young today! My wife is making me a cake this morning, a "special" cake, so I'm not allowed out in the kitchen to see what's happening. :)

Hi targett5,
first of all, this weeks selections are obviously vital to your decision making. With Crouch B out injured, there is some sort of chance that Crouch M will replace him.
If you Crouch is selected, do you have enough money to do Michie ---> Tyson, Dixon ---> Zorko? That could solve your dilemma if you do. If not, you need to assess your money making potential, and weigh up which is more important, Zorko's points, or Tyson's dollars. Generally, early in the season it all about making money, but if you feel you have enough potential cash cows, go Zorko.
Good luck :)

It seems like a good trade, as it looks like JKH might slow burn to $100-$120k made, where as Thomas potentially jumps to that amount quite quickly.
Just be sure you have realistic expectations as to his point scoring from here forward. Don't be expecting the 110+ scores to continue, and they could fall quite dramatically. Still he has the super low B/E now, so even if they do fall, he will make cash, and points, quicker than JKH. If he falls to being an 80/game player, he will make a quick $120k, but will be slow in making that last $30k.

Hello what is the general consensus with Sean Dempster haven't seen him play need to replace Hurn
I actually strongly considered Dempster during the preseason. In 2012 he was just outside the D6 sort of area, and St Kilda had all sorts of Defensive woes last season. With Delaney arriving, I thought that might free Dempster up to revert to his 2012 role again. I just wasn't sure enough, so didn't do it. I considered Hurn ---> Dempster, too, but I think the problem is, we may have missed the cream now. He's played GWS and Melbourne, and even if he gets to being a 90/game player, which is 3 higher than his 2012 career peak, he will only average 88 from here. That's useful compared to his price, but given it is likely you would upgrade him at some stage, it's not good enough. He either needs to generate more dollars, but will find that hard to do from his current price, or generate more points to become a Keeper. Particularly early in the season, there are many players that fit this description. You did well if you started with him, but it appears too late to get him now.

Is Dangerfield the Cloke v3 ?

Big call. There is a huge difference between this time and last time. Last time he wouldn't have been considered a million dollar player, this time he will be. Potentially a good call, but too early to say. I'm going to say no. His history is littered with poor scores early in the season, then he comes good. I'll back him to come good. Not that one poor score means he is "failing".

I actually don't think Currie will last too long. He is slow, and dropped some pretty easy marks in the Forward line on Sunday. He just has trouble getting the ball. He actually didn't Ruck that much, and where he is more impacting Goldy's score is, that while Currie is there, Goldy won't sneak forward for that goal here or there. You recognise that Mummy has been injury affected, and that is has been the case for a number of years, is there a reason why you think it won't happen again this year? Particularly given his workload has been higher than ever before. His contests attended is off the charts, and I would think not sustainable for someone with his fitness record. I can see Goldy and Mummy not being too far apart, average wise, but I will still back Goldy to play more games. I'd stick with Goldy, but if you have lost all faith, then there is no doubt, this is the week to jump.

Trade: Webster >> Langford.

I feel Langford only has his spot until Sewell & Stratton return. Not sure i want this trade.

Any thoughts ??
