Chesser > Young
Gulden > Van Rooyen
Callaghan > Laird

I feel like I'm trading for the sake of it because I've only used 2 so far and have avoided basically all of the injury concerns!! I'm carrying Docherty and Brayshaw, but both are getting plenty of the pill so hoping to end up with a couple of high scoring PODs.

Gulden is the one... He had a ripper pre season, and is averaging high as a forward, but I'm a bit meh about keeping him or trading him so again looking for a POD.

I can afford any midfielder, Laird feels like the one after dumping 40k...

In short - giving up a decent mid pricer for an uber premium.. but open to thoughts! Here is my team, ranked around 7k, scored 2,279 last week.

Is gulden injured?
His toned up twice and scored a 85 against a Melbourne team who smashed them. Am i missing something, What is he meant to be averaging 102.3 not enough?

100% agree with this. Pre-apologies for getting defensive here, but the people who think going sideways to bring Clarry in now is "unfathomable", "pointless", 9 times out of 10 already have him on field.

Yes, historically he has below par scoring against WCE and chances are it's likely his TOG will decrease against them this week. But I don't see how his price goes below $670k at BEST rest of season. People who already have him now have a distinct advantage over the rest of the comp. An advantage that will be very difficult to catch up on if I play the long game..
You could've said a similar thing about Oliver last year. He started 112, 121, 146 and people were rushing him into their teams saying you won't be able to afford him soon otherwise. He scored a 68 in round 4 (wasn't injured, just a bad game) in an easy win and you could pick him up 3 weeks later for $60k less.

Or in 2021. He started 122, 133 and people were bringing him in in round 3 as their must have premium correction. He scored 67 in round 3 (wasn't injured, just a bad game) in an easy win and you could pick him up 3 weeks later for $60k less.

Samson Ryan Juzzo. Coach has good things to say about him. Provides a link with Madden, the wet weekend not a good harbinger for him though.
Ok, I brought him in last week for Rat to enable Bruhn to Ziebell. Hope he makes a bit of coin. For a moment I thought you meant Luke Ryan. So just Chesser to Ryan would've been and understatement, haha.

No changes to plan since. Alternative would be fwd premium over Oliver and Bowes/Yeo to replace Constable using my third boost. Van Rooyen/Brockman to replace Bytel next round if he still cannot force his way into the side. Constable will likely be dealt with in RD6 to move Sheezel/Ziebell down back.

Isn't DC locked? Or have you already traded him out?

Only trade I'm considering this round is Constable > Rowston or Madden > Ryan.

Is either of them worth a trade for extra cash gen?

Constable to Phillips easy move?
I'm torn on this one as well, would be infuriating if he got dropped after 3 games. The concern i have with Phillips is he is not a clear cut best 22. Sub rnd 1, dropped rnd 2, decent run at it against this years wooden spooners (IMO) the hawks because both LDU & Simpkin were out. They got beaten by a poor team. Played 3 bottom teams so far. I can see them getting spanked by Carlton this week and the coach making changes as a result. i think philips is 1st out. tbh i think it is fomo of him dropping another 70+ and staying in the team that has me even considering him. Tricky one to pick

Anyone whose defence is a bit wobbly still trading in Buckley despite first price rise? I only have 2 premo defenders and have both Constable and Chesser back there. Can go Callaghan out, Chesser down to mids, and either Bows or Buckley in. I'm assuming Bowes will be named, but won't know till Carlton's game started (Cowan). Buckley has been good, so leaning towards him.
