Thoughts on Saad before today's game as a POD. 7 of his last 8 games have been > 110, and 13 of the last 16 > 100
Saad always worries me because he lures you in and then flakes off, but as you point out that's almost a season's worth of consistency right now. I'd gamble if I had to, but getting him as POD for the sake of a POD doesn't appeal to me as much.

I've blown a truckload of trades already

Pou > JVR
JHF > Day
Worpel > LDU

Mainly chasing cash but does 'fix' my team structurally. Don't think I'll get LDU any cheaper this year which makes up a bit for the loss of cash gen from the outs.

I'll have to roll with Day-Setterfield-Hopper-Ginbey-Sheezel for a while as I upgrade around them

Just wondering if you need to make the Pou -> JVR trade.
Pou only has a BE of 9 and you can get another look at JVR before his price rise.

I was trying my best not to use more than one trade this week, but I’ve found a way to get my first premo upgrade done using a boost (first one of the season).

Goater > Phillips
Callghan > Rowston
JHF > Bontempelli

It might be a week early and there’s every chance JHF tries and proves me wrong for the trade out, but I want to enjoy watching the Bont’s skills instead of ruing every kick.

Missed out on Phillips 🤦🤦

Would everyone please weigh in on SPS (west coast) vs Rowston vs Buckley

**Callaghan onfield replacement**

Im going to wait on Chesser as i dont see the point in trading him at the moment

If Hollands scores poorly, I could look at getting Hopper back in ( ) via Fergus Greene. Realistically this is the trade I could make, as he's probably the only expendable rookie (still has a -13 BE though so will miss some cash)
Think I’ll go Greene > Hopper (after going Hopper > Ziebell last week :cautious: )

Does go against SuperCoach logic to trade Hopper out and back in 1 round apart but lucky enough to have it be my only trade this week so it’s probably a luxury I can afford.

Hope he repays the faith (y)

Not sure yet. I have Hollands E into him currently.
I either trade him to a Buckley/Bowes type which is unlikely, trade to a rookie (probably Hewett or JVR) or hold which allows me to take another look at Pickett (would need Callaghan to go 60 to afford him).
I think the kids going to be a star, but that shoulder is very clearly affecting him. I also think he got a bit unlucky throughout the game. Stuff like not getting used, play being on the other wing, which means room for improvement.
You like Hewett more than Rowston?
Mind if I ask why?

To be brutally honest, I don’t get the hype for Rowston. He looks to be their 4th mid in the CBA’s (3rd when Kelly was out) and could still only score just 48 and 55. What if Ward goes ahead of him in those mid rotations? Does he start dropping 40s? Can’t see him going ahead of the trio of Kelly/Green/Coniglio. Will likely get dropped for Perryman when he is back (3-4 weeks away) and I can’t see him making 150k in that time.

Hewett has had a slow start due to being the sub. He was tactical subbed in for his first game for just 2. Had 3 touches but a couple clangers hurt his score.
34 last week and was subbed in halfway through the second. He missed 2 sitters in front of goal when the game was close which would’ve given him 55 or so if he kicked them. He had 14 touches but just at 57% DE with 3 clangers. Not sure if that’s an issue or if it might just be the nerves of playing your first games.
He had just the 6 CBA’s throughout the first 2 games (2 in the first, 4 in the second). This should significantly increase with the injuries issues at WC and the increased game time (not sub). I see their CBA’s going to Kelly, Ginbey, Yeo, Culley, Hewett, Gaff, with potentially a few for Clark and West. Not sure how they treat Yeo, do they ease him in or does he get loads of CBAs? He will affect Hewett’s CBA count, but regardless Hewett should score better than his previous games.

Sort of a 'whole of team' thing really. Needed the cash to get LDU and Day in who, theoretically, should boost my onfield scoring, JHF has relatively high BE and I have some doubts over Worpel's JS and scoring potential.
With luck Day could add 100k over the next 3 weeks and I don't think I'll pick up LDU any cheaper for the rest of the season.
It's a calculated risk bringing in JVR early and he might go when Gawn is back, there is a slight cost involved in losing Pou but the advantages, for me, outweighs the disadvantages, an added plus is it gets Chandler on the field.

Feels like this is the week to trade in Samson Ryan, if at all. No Riewoldt this week and weather should be ok. DPP, goes ok, has a bit of a ruck and probably as likely to slow burn and spike as a Greene/Caminiti type. But is he worth the trade?
Can't see any other potential R3 money makers on the horizon and would preferably want to grab Samson prior to his first price increase to give him better potential viability. Might also be somewhat of a cover to Nank the Tank for those that have him.
Obviously better if you started him but I no longer seem to need the Madden loop anymore, so it's almost a wasted spot.

Samson looks a good talent, back up ruck for the next few rounds, reasonable target up forward. Was my R3 until not selected and I wish I had him over Esava right now, although somewhere Esava has a spike score in him.

Only decent choice at $123k unless going early on JVR. Chandler and Amartey look solid still, potentially bette infield scoring potential, just $200k price is a little high for some.

Do you have Greene? Maybe trade him out instead 🤔

Can anyone make an argument that Callaghan to Rowston is worthwhile?
