    Strategy Round 7: Trades

I have Oliver and am getting Trac this week. That is the order I would probably prioritise them if you have neither, but honestly you cant go wrong with either as they should average almost identically from here.

SIL said, Of those, option 1 by a fair way, but im not a massive fan of either. Brayshaw is 60 when tagged and 120 when not. I expect he gets tagged approx 50% of the time and so he averages 90 as a mid which is less than ideal for a guy priced at 100. Also Warner still making money.

Score: 2,334 Weekly: 2,427 Overall: 613 (from 1,012) Trades made: Clark and Campbell to Walsh and Mansell Heroes: Ziebell, Grundy, Gawn, Macrae, Merrett, Oliver, Laird, Stewart, Dunks, Impey, Jiath, Kosi, Powell Villains: None really, maybe Chapman and Gulden slightly disappointing given Jordon...

    Strategy Round 7: Trades

All are old, injury niggles or both. Marshall has ongoing foot injury which could well see him managed throughout the season, but he is certainly on my radar. Dusty has the foot issue plus most already have him. Butters out for a while but certainly looked good before the ankle went. Sidey has...

    Strategy Round 7: Trades

IMHO The forward line is a basket case. Value options are scoring well enough to just leave it 'til last, as I have no idea who is going to be 95+ at years end. I will worry about everywhere else first, and leave the forward line until the byes, so Dunkley will turn into Robertson, Gulden to...

    Strategy Round 6: Trades

I agree with Angry on Zac, as far as Witherden is concerned, I was looking at him for similar reasons, but my concern is what happens when Hurn returns to the side? In his debut for the Eagles, he took almost all the kick-ins. With Hurn due back, I expect that will drop significantly, just how...

    Strategy Round 6: Trades

Given he's a defender, I would actually think thats good for him. If the ball is up the other end like it was v Saints, he cant get near the footy.

    Strategy Round 6: Trades

Interesting post SS, I am now seriously considering him. Given he is only $102k, that would allow me to get Walsh this week, and Titch next week.

    Strategy Round 6: Trades

How GWS use Whitfield from this point is anyone’s guess. My expectation as a Giants fan, is that he becomes the run and gun off half back because his 50m passes are amongst the best in the AFL. I espect this impacts Ash to a degree more than it impacts Kelly, who I can only assume has had some...

    Position SC 2021: Forward Discussion

It is an indication of how bare the forward line is, that Dale and TFGreene are probably the two best candidates until Danger finishes dropping $150k.

    Discussion SC 2021: Rookie Discussion

Fair question, but when the coach calls you out as an example of effort for the whole team to aspire to, after you rack up 21 possies and 7 score involvements from defence, I reckon that puts you a fair way in front of at least half a dozen others for a while.

    Discussion SC 2021: Rookie Discussion

Farrer was excellent. He's a mature rookie (24) played entirely in defence and used the ball well. His role is great, his JS is good, his age is a plus, but the price is the issue. I am generally looking to generate more cash when downgrading, however given the complete lack of mid rookies on...

    Strategy Round 6: Trades

Is Bailey Dale ($407 fwd ave: 94) worth a look for an upgrade?. Currently the 8th best fwd, he is running off half back, and taking at least half the kick ins. So role is good, price is good, team is winning (more share of points). Williams remains out for a while,so even with Caleb back I think...

    Strategy Round 6: Trades

The logic behind trading him now is that he is pretty much maxed out cash wise and has probably had his big scores already. While his season average will almost certainly be top 6, will he average more than 80-85 from here? If you think yes he will do at least that, then keep him and only trade...

    Strategy Round 6: Trades

Flynn played 3 qtrs in the twos, as they 'managed' his ankle. Not sure if thats a good or bad sign for the severity of the injury. Also you need to consider that Briggs is also in line for some ruck time this year and should he come in, your handcuff idea is suddenly in tatters. It's great in...

2309 with Ridley. Took Macrae’s VC score, And happy with Gawn, Daniher, Ziebell and a host of others. Keeping Jordon and Kozzie paid off big time.
