Perhaps early on that was the case when he went 130+ six matches in a row. Since then he hasn't hit 130 and has averaged 'just' 105.

Essentially going Gawn to English feels very sideways to me.

He has improved massively from the 2nd half of the game v Essendon in Round 8 onwards and looks to be moving more freely. Having said that he has fallen down the midfield pecking order behind Rozee, Butters, JHF and Drew and I think that you would be pretty lucky to get an average of 100 per game from here.

Goes against my usual 'no dickhead' policy but am bringing in De Goey for Ashcroft this week. Need a Round 13 or 14 player for bye balance and noticed that he only has 3 games outside of Melbourne in the run home. Historical averages show the last 5 years in the 80s but I'm confident that his greater midfield role this season is relatively safe. The only other genuinely viable option is Rowell but he appears relatively dependent on GC winning/being competitive for his strong scores and costs 50k more for the same average to this point.

I don't mind this pick at all. Another that I'm leaning towards to bring in before R15 is Chad Warner.

Great last 5 weeks for Warner, nice pick. Would be in if I didn't need a player playing this week who then completes my midfield.

When doing the Simpson to Ford trade could you swing Macrae to the forward line, Cincotta to the mids and then Ziebell to defence?

Bit of a sweat now with 14 premiums + Weddle/Williams/Ford/Wardlaw/Angwin

Would be happy to trade Mitchell > Mullin as an emergency trade (the plan was to trade Mitchell out at his R14 bye) but playing so early, this could be unneccecary trade as I miss one price-change of Mitchell (around $20K) and no gurantee Mullin is around for R14/R15 bye rounds.

I will still have my "emergency" trade of Madden > Briggs available, which I may have to pull the trigger on if any of Weddle/Williams put up sub-50 scores (won't know how Ford/Wardlaw/Angwin score all playing on Sunday)
