Just inevitable management when youve had the injury history and minimal pre season he has had, wont be surprised if theres a sub affected game in the not too distant future.

Briggs for a short term cash grab to play through the byes looks pretty appealing. Don’t think ignoring Ford is a fantastic idea either.

On paper its hard to say no but I do have some concerns which I have to figure out before absolutely locking in what I do, firstly does Briggs hold for long enough? Flynn had 21 touches 2 goals and 32 hitouts last weekend and that was against Campbell who is fairly decent competition, will be ready to pounce on a bad game.

The other issue is can we actually trade in two round 15 bye rookies when it is already looking a disastrous bye round for the vast majority of us?

Maybe, but what point does that serve at this point of the season where we are looking for quick cash to finish our sides? If hes not making cash hes largely useless and he how has a 40 in his rolling average for 2 price rises, going to max out very quickly and doesnt have the durability or pre season behind him for the picks main benefit to be being able to provide season long cover, just my take on him though.

Cincotta>wardlaw via sheezel and macrae my only move this week.
Grabbed Ford last week already.
This is setting me up for
Callaghan, Mitchell, weddle > Neale, sinclair (or lloyd), Mullin next round.
Stewart and Constable (lol) are my literally only 2 Backmen in r14, so I need to sort that out, and these 4 trades get me 3 additional Backmen!

Might consider D Cam next week, too, probably from Sheezel in that case off one more D Cam price drop.

What arbitrary limit of injuries has Wardlaw suffered over his long career? Are these of a contact or non contact nature and are these related to one specific section? Do these come with a high recurrence rate? If so, why would NM waste a first round pick on a player guaranteed not to regularly make it onto the park for the next 5-10+ years?

I had mild plans but it's all been thrown to **** over the last two weeks with:

• Cincotta dropped
• Chesser dropped
• Drury dropped
• Atkins injured
• Darcy injured
• Ratugolea injured
• Davey dropped

Do these come with a high recurrence rate? If so, why would NM waste a first round pick on a player guaranteed not to regularly make it onto the park for the next 5-10+ years?

He did 4 hamstrings last year, North knew the risk and held him back for a reason, talent has never been questioned but keeping him on the park is something they are all but certain to continue to carefully manage hence the low TOG in both games to date.

Was simply flagging that its something that needs to also be considered before paying 190K for a rookie thats already got one poor score.

As much as its frustrating you can't do much about bad luck and plenty of people are in exactly the same position, just got to make the best of it and keep playing the percentages.
