Wait for Darcy news , but Wilmot - > Ford pretty much locked in.

Currently have 8 Round 12 Bye players + 5 others who didn't play Round 11.

Bye setup of 8-2-6-14 so will navigate it as best as possible.

Only really have cash for 1 down & 2 up at this stage.

Might have to hold onto Cripps , Day , Haynes & Hawkins a lot longer unless my bench suddenly starts creating miracles.

Ginbey to Ford locked, 2nd trade will be a wait and see. Keen on Macrae and with a low BE it feels like it's this week or never.. not keen on paying well over $600k after his bye...

Very tempted to flip Day for Laird.

Simpson, Davey & Day > Wardlaw, Ford, Laird.

Leaves 4 spots still to upgrade but Ashcroft and Esava ready to cash out.

Counter point – He just played against the hardest team in the comp to score points against.
This is probably a blessing to be honest.

Wardlaw as a POD because everyone was turned off by a performance against Collingwood has the potential to be a nice advantage.

He did 4 hamstrings last year, North knew the risk and held him back for a reason, talent has never been questioned but keeping him on the park is something they are all but certain to continue to carefully manage hence the low TOG in both games to date.

Was simply flagging that its something that needs to also be considered before paying 190K for a rookie thats already got one poor score.
Must be some kind of mutant freak considering humans only have 2 hamstrings 😛

Thoughts on Petracca?

Looking at Wilmot and Ashcroft to Ford and Petracca.

Strongly considering Darcy to Briggs too.

Wardlaw is useless for my team:
- Poor cash gen across the bye rounds;
- Expensive at $200k;
- R15 bye.

Will probably just be Ryan to Ford. Considering Briggs however he will only be fielded for 1 game across byes for me, and cash gen maybe $100k with risk of jobshare happening sometime…not to mention R15.

Wilmot > Ford
Ashcroft > Macrae?

Is now the time to get rid of Ashcroft? Ideally, he would stay in until his bye, but Macrae effectively completes my forward line with Cogs M6. Holding off on Dawson until after his bye, thinking Sheezel into Dawson might be the move when we get there.

Wardlaw would only come in for me if I can be certain he'd provide emergency cover for the rest of the season.
