Some changes due to Injuries, which required a little reshuffle. Biggest changes to the FWD Line after injuries to some key swans players and the injury to Darcy.

Wines is the POD, no hint of any soft tissue injury during preseason, loved his role in the trail game which supported the news out of PA, and is i believe 17pts under his value as a Inside Mid. All this combined with a magnificant early draw gets him into the team ahead of Touk.

Enjoy the Year Coaches.

Very nice team.

I wouldn't consider Wines a POD though - he is quite popular.

Heeney in the major change in RD0 since the sub $300k forward line looks a bit shaky with Billings and Lohmann starting as subs, D’Ambrosio dropped down to Howes after his performance on Thursday. Currently playing around with structures involving both Berry and Lyons as starters.

Fisher making a late charge over the past few days with Daicos moving to the backline and Sheezel dropping.

Ideally would like to leave some cash to go Lyons to Fyfe if needed but means McKercher would have to be traded for a Dempsey/Burgess/Hustwaite type. Hewett another making a late charge that has been under consideration with M Crouch for the M5 spot. The alternative is Flanders and Crouch over Miller and Hewett.

Rest of the structure and selections seems alright and should not cause major structural changes come team announcements.

@Vicwood I’m sure you will, but isn’t it better to have Grundy on the bench with the E in case he gets injured or just has a super low SC score and gives you the option to loop Jackson over and field a fwd rookie in his place

A massive sigh of relief the wait is over - for my own mental well-being I could have done with this starting last week. Horrible week wait with so much more to consider this year. Good luck all.
That looks a strong team.

Please don't cut McKercher ( or H. Reid, M. Roberts, Sanders and Sexton). These 5 players everyone should have.
OK, he's back in for Fyfe then. 65% of people agree with you, so will follow the herd until we have more stats to look for PODs. Not convinced that Fyfe will be anywhere near his previous best. Can always wait 2 weeks before getting him, if he starts coming up with big scores. Cheers.

At the risk of ridicule, but relying on the nous and spirit of SCS, can you guys help me in my hour of need? I've had so little time to prepare this pre-season a ritual time in which I habitually waste so much. I probably should have sat out given my current circumstances - time poor and having recently said goodbye to my dad, my head has been elsewhere - but I decided there wasn't much to lose, and this place is one I love being part of during the footy season. Anyway, not looking for sympathy, but just a little last-minute advice.

I have the luxury of only having to lock in Pies and Swans till tomorrow, but feedback on anything and everything - what do I need to get this ship afloat, and spread that 300k around to do so. I know I'm rookie-heavy as I built from the ground up, but I'm really liking Houston, questioning Martin, my mids seem thin... I could go on, but I won't. All opinions appreciated.

Get rid of Hustwaite, could move on Lazzaro and/orWindsor and bring in a Cadman type and a premium. Could look at a S.Berry/Lyons type.

Young in defence is probably one to monitor and maybe with Gibcus down make a plan to bring him in next week down back.

Hustwaite - > Fisher (if you don't want Heeney) via DPP.

Windsor - > Cadman maybe.

Build some Bank , then see how the round pans out for a Gibcus replacement.

Side looks fairly strong currently 12-1-9.

Majority probably using Livingstone @ R3 as the donut.

Good luck with it all

Maybe downgrading Windsor to Cadman on your forward bench, and then turning Hustwaite into Hayden Young in defense by moving Daicos into the mids. Then when you trade out Gibcus next week you can either bring in a rookie defender or move Daicos back and bring in a midfielder.

edit: or trade out Hustwaite, move Wilson to the mids and bring in Fisher.
