I have witnessed something tonight I've never seen in my 24 odd years sitting in the front row while the players have an unofficial pre game kick on the ground.

Josh Rachelle while have snap shots at goal in the pocket went close to the boundary and handballed the footy to some older kids in the stand and got them to handball back and he immediately play on for a shot at goal. He essentially used the kids to help him warm up!

That, and the fact that Perkins is sub… not sure, just not sure.

Hopefully the AFL doesn't fine him for this. They made it so players have to hand the footballs they give out to kids after games directly rather than throwing/passing/kicking them into the crowd, and those are much smaller.
