Got 34 trades, i feel like im burning through them

At the moment thinking i want to get a few players such as Steele, Heeney etc

But im thinking hold Jordon and trade before his next game, that way i get an extra week to scope rookies AND choose someone else to drop (Clark on the watchlist at the moment)

Am i crazy for thinking this is a good idea?
Time for a "how many trades left" poll?

Same, I'm at 34 before this round, but feel there may be teams who've used all 9 trades available thus far.

A little local perspective for those jumping early on Graham, Clohesy and even still considering Sharp. For transparency sake I have Sharp. Watched Jeremy for a number of years when he was with the Suns - bit of a front runner so I'm always concerned as to his output when the team might be under severe pressure. That said he's played well and could be a better option than another untested rookie. Will Graham will be the best of the Suns new kids - mid pressure, tough at the ball and he can use PLUS Dimma loves him! I'd still hold off on both until after second game - he's had two reasonably serious knee issues during his Academy days so be aware. Clohesy jumped out of the blocks but he's relatively unknown and whether he has two great games in a row remains to be seen. In summary - Sharp worth a risk but I'd hold on Clohesy and Graham unless you have plenty of trades up your sleeve. They guy who has slipped under the radar is Bhodi Uwland - another Dimma favorite and will keep his spot all year.

I missed Briggs last year which really hurt.
Was planning on upping Grundy to English but am getting serious FOMO on Meek.

Will he be another Briggs and a must or is cash gen less of an issue this year with the amount of rookies available?

I think this is all valid but one thing to keep in mind is that we can only use 3 trades next week and there could be 3 amazing bubble rookies PLUS other trades (injuries, etc) needed. I don't think it's the worst idea to go early on Clohesy or Graham in order to have some flexibility next week.. if no one else presents and there are no issues you can grab the other and Combden while saving a boost, but the last thing you want is all 3 trades are committed and thne there is another issue you need to deal with!

Seems a traditional small forward role, who feasted against the roos. Tempting, but it's a no from me.
Played a long way up the wings and a bit on ball, we've got Cameron and McCarthy as those small forwards closer to goal and he's not taking their positions. I understand not taking him, but it shouldn't be because you've got him pegged as a crumbing forward type.

I think I am going to bring in tom brown! I'm still kicking myself for reversing him on Sunday. He played like a gun. Strong, good defending and disposal. He's a good player. Dont know if that will translate to a good pick. Sexton to Brown via dpp is looking likely.

Best 18 though helps mitigate any injury issues that may pop up.
I'd say it's only a concern if one of your high scoring premos goes down.

Thanks, appreciate the feedback. Could grab him instead of Clohesy

Early thoughts for me are Sexton and Howes for Meek and Clohesy/Lohman

Meek can cover Grundy this week, Gawn next week and then either Grundy or Meek get traded out in 3 weeks time. Or maybe both for English

True but this is also assuming that all three (Comben, Clohesy and Graham) all play out of their skins two weeks in a row. Can't fault anyone taking one or all three BUT it's tinged with danger - and wastd trades if it doesn't work perfectly.

It was only a few rounds ago we had a lot of viable rookies and people missed a Dempsey type due to trade constraints. All 3 might not work, but all 3 have good roles and look strong, and add to that there are potentially some other guys like Ramsden who could also be popular next week. I don't see a huge amount of danger in getting one of say Clohesy or Graham this week, given they are cheap and showed a good amount in round one. Graham is also DPP which gives extra benefit/risk mitigation. But if I get an injury to a premium this weekend I want the flexibility to fix that and get some good downgrade options into my team, rather than be forced to sacrifice on the premium points or missed cash gen.
To each their own, but sometimes the wait and see approach is too cautious.

Can people help me out here. I have a payment issue with Newscorp going through their financial department and currently have no access to SCPlus.

I just need to know some BE on the following players: Howes, Cadman, Harvey Thomas, Soligo, LDU, Luke Jackson, Seth Campbell.

Thanks ahead of time for any replies.

Bramble to Clohsey (feel like the doggies defensive line is getting more congested with viable players)
Hogan to Steele
Carroll to Martin (Walsh isnt far away, annoyed I am retaking a player I dropped earlier but his numbers and role look good)

Still have some folk not making bank in Sexton and Mannagh but will worry about that next round

Does everybody who is trading Grundy have Luke Jackson? Or are those who trading just sick of him? I think I'm begrudgingly keeping him, he's been a bit underwhelming but I can't justify myself trading him (especially if I have Jackson covering him over the bye round).

trading him to gawn so i have english/gawn combo for the rest of the year. gawn will be over 700k after this round and very hard to trade in after then

grundy looks so uninterested whenever I watch him play
