Trying to find out if Jezza Cameron's SC scores are affected by Tobias Greene when they play together. Having a quick flick through Footywire it seems there is no clear pattern. They have both scored tons together and their scores have vice versa'd too. Maybe Connoisseur could shed some light with his brilliant stats? Thanks in anticipation.

So is the Hoff up and about again roaming or still stuck up forward minus Dixon and just scoring better due to other reasons in the last 2 games?

Geez Jeremy Cameron is tempting me. Looks great, and has Hawks, Carlton, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Adelaide and North up until the bye.

I know that he's gonna have a stinker or 2, but he seems to have raised his floor so far...

If both Hately and Answerth don’t get named this week, I’ll be VERY tempted to trade in Cameron.

Yeah, that round 14 bye up fwd is gold but he has kicked so many goals it's hard to see him maintaining it year long.

You would be backing in a good year vs a purple patch, could be worth it for the bye structure alone i guess.

Quote from ''In the mix'' R8 AFL report on Port Adelaide

Verdict: Providing the injured trio all play, it will be two changes for Port – Jonas and Motlop, for Lienert and Marshall. Motlop's inclusion will allow Justin Westhoff to play more time forward. Coach Ken Hinkley has backed in his kids all season, so he'll give Butters a chance to show what he can do in a Showdown. - Lee Gaskin

Now we know Wines is out so 3 changes I assume.

I was thinking of bringing the Hoff in for ruck cover and an F6, I thought 90-95 would be a good F6, but I am not liking the above statements, obviously Marshall didn't have much impact.

I'm looking at Hoff still being reasonable ruck cover at F6 down the stretch post bye rounds - once Port get Dixon back with one of their young talls in and Paddy/ Lycett resting forward the I'd hope Hoff will be freed up to roam again.

Even if he's only an 85-90 average player over that period I feel that his DPP status is more valuable when there aren't many trades left and I've settled on Grawndy and possibly a loophole rookie post bye rounds, as I'd imagine a lot of coaches might end up doing.

(as an aside I might be the only one who thinks this but I'm a little wary of Gawn especially being rested at some point in the latter half of the year to "freshen him up", given that the Dees have a strong #2 option in Preuss so I'm leaning towards the bit of extra security that Hoff would provide)

Not sure how Port's schedule stacks up but I might also potentially consider setting up a loop with Hoff and a strong FWD rookie to mitigate the risk at F6, if the fixture allows it.

The bloke who wrote that has no clue.

I know it's Port but there's no way Motlop comes in for Marshall.. especially with Ebert going down as a somewhat "taller" small. We would have literally no talls...just Westhoff as a forward.

Marshall will be playing and if he isn't then Frampton will be coming into the side to replace him (has kicked 9 goals and averaging 107 fantasy in his last 2 SANFL matches). We as supporters are also hoping that Frampton will come in to play ALONGSIDE Marshall but I honestly don't think we are stupid enough to drop Marshall and not bring another tall in.

That in the mix was also announced before it was evident that Wines and Ebert wouldn't be playing so that definitely changes things too.

What i'm hoping for:
Out: Wines, Ebert, Bonner, Amon
In: Farrell, Garner, Broadbent, Frampton

What's Likely:
Out: Wines, Ebert, Bonner/DBJ
In: Atley, Motlop, Broadbent

Yeah I am - but then I think about Bevo ???

If I traded Libba to Dunkley you could be certain Libba would get the midfield minutes and go 110+ and Dunkley played forward.
I’m a mad Richmond supporter, in the midfield last week he was the most damaging against us. How could bevo not play him there his a beast. I’m gonna take the punt and bring him in.

Do you think Bevo just changes players positions randomly or to suit what is happening at the time or do they have a set amount of weeks up forward or in mids?

And that’s the question we all wish we had the answer to!

Unfortunately or fortunately the strength of the dogs midfield causes us all sorts of SC grief. I think Dunkley needs to be developed in the midfield and finding that balance is obviously difficult.
