Been great shifting through myriads of threads over the years, I would highly recommend all to take a trip down memory lane when you can afford some time.

Almost 4,000 registered members and three quarter of a million quality posts have been the building blocks and DNA of this great site. We owe so much to the many contributors, both past and present, who've made SCS what it is today.

Happy reading all...

I figure I may as well use my first post to introduce myself.

I am yet another Ghost of FFC looking for a new home and after hearing that the likes of Narkee, Bunga, Wogi & Wheedus had jumped across I figured this place would probably be as good a place as any to call home.

I've been playing SC for nearly 15 years now, I was a part of FFC for about a decade. Narkee & Bunga were big believers in me back in the day and I was a moderator there for a long, long time. Helping turn a rag tag group of DT players (Wogi/Nark) into the SC players you know and love today. FFC taking out the top SC leagues was a proud moment for myself and Bunga given just how DT focused our playerbase was when we'd started.

My avatar is a reference to my old avatar at FFC in that I tend to believe that chaos is a ladder. Things that shake up the status quo tend to provide opportunities for adept coaches to climb the rankings. Which is why I was basically the only person who actually enjoys the element that the bye rounds bring.

Unfortunately, much like GOT I don't always put the effort in that I used to and it shows. As a result I've trimmed back the number of comps I play to just SC these days. Back in the day I used to SC, RDT, UF, etc. But I just don't have the time anymore. I feel like I have a valuable knowledge base to go off of and will contribute when I feel like I have something to offer.

Outside of the Crows, I'm also a massive Baltimore Ravens fan in the NFL. I'm based in SA, but am probably looking to relocate to QLD in the next year.

@Sledge !!! - Great to have you on here mate, another awesome addition to this site.

Ah yes, FFC taking out the top SC leagues was a special moment - will never forget

As the agent of chaos, you must be loving these bye rounds & the late fixture changes (WCE V Rich game)

Probably time I stop lurking and introduce myself 😂

I’m Evelina, almost 30 year old from SA. I’m a wife and mum of 2 kids, a 4 year old boy and 10 week old little girl. I’m a physio when I’m not looking after my two kids.

Huge cricket fan since I was young due to my Dad constantly having the cricket on the tv in the background as I was growing up. My brother who is 5 years younger than me couldn’t pronounce my name when he was little so the nickname “Ellie” was born. Once he was older and able to say my name, nobody called me Ellie except for my Dad who unexpectedly passed away 4 years ago. Cricket reminds me of him. 💕

I have played BBL SC for a few years just for some fun with my husband and brother in law and found this website last season and it’s become a bit of an obsession.. I love scrolling through other people’s comments, reading different insights. I don’t feel like I’m knowledgeable enough to post but I really enjoy watching and reading about cricket. 😍

I guess I should introduce myself, can't see why not. I'm Ben, I'm 17, and I'm currently a first year journalism student. I'm aiming to become a music journalist.

Sport's always been one of my main passions, along with music, and I've been playing supercoach since 2010, when I started high school. I actually got involved because I was trying to one-up a kid in my class, who's still one of my best mates and my go to on supercoach (smashing him this year though).

I've always been around the 7,000 mark and have been involved in a fair few forums over the course. This one I enjoy the most though for a few reasons, due to the ability to recognise users yet still have a multitude of voices.

Having been an Essendon supporter since I was born (with my surname, I couldn't support any other club, runs in the family) supercoach has kept me interested somewhat. Especially in 2014/2015 my love for the game had died off a bit, but now it's back with a vengeance.

I hope that I continue to play supercoach for many years to come. Thanks for having me!
Got a notification on this before and it was an interesting reminder. I actually did end up becoming a music journalist/writer, and am currently working as one - at least part-time anyway, with the other half spent working in copywriting/marketing. Interesting how things work out!

Haven't contributed here, but I thought I'd better after @Bermi designed my new avatar. I'm a fan of hand engraved shotguns and Bermi was kind enough to create an avatar from the images of an Italian shotgun that I gave him, hope you all like it, many thanks to the man from Bermagui for putting in the time.

My username probably needs to be changed as we've sold the Bar/live music venue that we started in 2008.

It was my pleasure!

Below is a larger image of the Avatar, so the fine detail of the engraving can be appreciated.
