Cheers guys. I cant match up Crouch and Beams due to $$ I can only go Heppell and one of them. But i think im leaning towards the Neale/Shuey combo to, at worst he will surely make his way to 450k right?
Also any recommendations except for another mid over neale? Bont/Gaff/Higgo/Merret?
All good options but I’d go Gaff ahead of the other 3.

Regarding your Shuey will make his way to $450k comment. Will you trade him if he doesn’t score well? You must be going well for trades if you’re in a position to do that:p

My initial thought is to concur with Tamuhawk on the provision that you have cover for Fyfe.

I don't believe overall ambition is your primary focus now (sorry) so I would guard those precious two remaining trades until such a time when you absolutely need to use them, either to win an important league match to guarantee finals (depending on how you're tracking for finals) or for that inevitable killer trade during SC finals!
Cheers guys. Will sit on my trades and see how my now most important league matches play out before pulling the trigger!

Current team is

Simo, Yeo, Laird, Hurn, Webster, Savage (Austin and Brander)
Mitchell, Kelly, Cripps, Neale, Danger, Oliver, Pendles, Coniglio (J.Smith, Spargo and Giro)
Gawn and Lycett (Olango)
Heeney, Sicily, McDonald, Smith, Hogan, JJK (Fritsch and Ahern)

2 trades now left. Have completed Fyfe - Neale. $105,300 in bank

Should i trade Lycett this week?

If so, is Sauce a good option?

I’ll have 3 after going the Neale/Shuey path so not really haha but barring no injuries in the next 3-4 weeks I could probably make the move. Just cant see Shuey going 95-100 from here atm

Increased font size to default in Darkie's post so others won't have to go through the same experience and maybe...just maybe...he'll get more replies now that it's in full view for others.
Thanks everyone for your thoughts - Kelly it is for me, good to confirm.

As for the font, I'm not sure how or why it changed, although I was on my phone, for some reason the second paragraph seemed to go back to normal size, and even if I refreshed the page I couldn't avoid the small font.

Thanh, thanks for editing. As an FYI, it appears the system shows the message as being edited by a moderator, rather than you specifically. A non issue from my perspective, but just flagging it in case it is an unintended feature of the new system :)

Yeah Shuey falls into that gambley type pick you shouldn’t take but you kinda want to.

I’m one of the few that like him and if things were a little different I’d be taking a punt on him. Has a midfield friendly few weeks ahead of him so could average the higher end of his range, especially if he avoids the Jacobs tag.

Kelly v Neale v Gaff
I essentially asked Kelly vs Neale in another thread (maybe the trades thread) so you may be able to get a good idea on that one there. I was erring on Kelly and that seemed to be the consensus. I think Neale is a good pick but Kelly a better one.

No real view on Gaff, sorry, except in that for me he was never part of the equation, even though I don't have him. I'm guessing a sore or rested NicNat probably doesn't help him though.

Buddy’s 60 v ahern?
I'd take Ahern. Averaging more than that and playing GC. Got a 57 away against the Cats, with his other scores being at Etihad - so playing away might be a slight headwind for him, but he's back at Etihad this week.

Looking at offloading the underperforming Boak, Have 540k to spend.

Thinking Westhoff v Breust but think Hoff has hot/cold streaks and might be on the end of a hot one also don't want to go from one underperforming PA player to another, Breust seems a bit like chasing last weeks points.

Or any other player in this price range, Ranking has gone back to mid 20ks, only playing for pride so it doesn't matter if they are poddy or popular.

Personally I don’t mind Westhoff and if I could get an M9/F7 swing player it would be him (my forwards already being full). With that said, I heard recently that Port have recently had quite a soft draw so that would be something to consider.

Depending on who you have, names that could get cheapish would include Heeney, McDonald, Buddy and maybe Gray. I have all of them (lucky me!), but that’s an indication that o see/saw them all as very top forwards.

I also saw Darling mentioned in the other thread and he’s a good one to watch, albeit I was skeptical that his scoring was sustainable. He will get cheaper though, so you’ll have a couple of games to watch him first if you’re looking to get him at his lowest price.

Agree with Tam. Pendles is the better scorer and much more durable. If Beams wasn’t on a hot streak it would be no contest - so unless you think he will sustain that (and stay fit), I see this as an easy one.

91 v Rockliff?

91 is a fair score, Rocky has been a bit up and down and PtA have a tough match in the west.

Really not sure which way to go ?
