Hmm I think I'd take 91 if I had the choice. Rocky is a real roller coaster so could score 50 or 120
Cheers Bomber, it is a tough one, my concern is as has been the case before that Rocky could be used as a tagger or in run with role which could impact his scoring.

Still a couple of hours to decide, thanks for your thoughts ?

On the other hand, if you think Rocky doesn't average more than 95, why is he in our teams?

It's a tough one for sure. I have him on field and I'd be happy with a 95-100 from him

Fair point.

Initially he was brought into my team as a cheap around 360k M8 with the plan to make some cash and eventually be turned into Danger after his bye or shift to M9 and loophole his good scores.

As is the case, often with my teams, other things have got in the road, lol.

He has averaged 91 since my team two scores under 70 and 2 over 120.

If PtA were at home, I would back him in, but being away, makes it that bit more uncertain.

Yeah he's been a mixed bag. Averaged 90 in my team too as I got his 41 first up. Probably added about 5ppg to his value as he played through byes and probably saved a donut for me.

I traded out Fritsch at 200k and ran out of cash so I couldn't have finished my side without taking a compromise like Rocky at M8. Hopefully he can just go close to 95-100 on the run home...

Hard to take an ess supporter seriously for an XY like this but Hurley. He looked in much better form last week, taking more intercept marks and getting more of the ball.

TMac has a tougher draw with Cats, Crows and WCE away.

Have both, agree, out of those two Hurley. TMac seems to be playing deeper since he injured his ribs and not as much time on the wing. TMac a beast of a player before rib knock, seem to drop easy marks on the weekend. Carrying an injury?

Angus Brayshaw +$100k vs Lloyd? Going League

Interesting stat - Lloyd scores not based on opposition (win/loss easy/hard) but on number of inside 50's of opposition. Excluding the Freo game (i50 50/173SC), he has a 0.66 correlation.

<55 i50 he averages 86 (excl Freo game)
>55 i50 he averages 120

Will be interesting to see vs GC who have had i50 of 47 (r17),37 and 58 in last three games. Will it fit the season mould or the Freo game.

Brayshaw - playing mid time, Pies game anomaly due to tagging role. Score levels seem to be relative to quality of opposition.

The amount of trades left you have can play a factor if you say you’re going for league and have say 2 trades left I would go for Brayshaw + 100k so that later in the rounds you might want to do a luxury trade or perhaps out of the blue a LTI occurs then you would have sufficient money to hopefully trade them to a healthy and well averaging player, if money is no issue and say you have 4+ trades then I’ll get Lloyd.

I’ve myself consider Brayshaw but opted the way of going to a cheaper player, with some thought I’ll probably get Hurley leaving me with 161.5k in the bank with 2 trades left as you and Bomber18 said Melb have a tough draw and Tmac just doesn’t seem right after that injury

I'm a huge Lloyd fan. If you can afford him in one trade, get him I reckon.

Westhoff v Wingard

Westhoff has better history and better season average
Wingard has been great since moving into the midfield, and has lower ownership (7% as opposed to 25%)

Be mindful season ave for westhoff includes when Ryder was out where he averaged more.

Not much difference in price these days. I think the Hoff's scoring increases again with Ryder out and more time in the ruck. otherwise, not much difference.
