Gday Mr_A, welcome back!

Good luck, I think you might have my measure in SCS04 this week.
Thanks for your help. Good luck for this weekend, i didnt realise I was playing you this week so will pay extra close attention now. Would have been nice if our POD Currie had of got back for the byes to help out as he was showing promise early on.

McVeigh had been in my plans since pre-byes but with the extra cash I was tempted to spend it, nice to hear you back my original plans

Hi SCap, happy to have helped.
I believe Deledio might just pip Zerrett for average from here, but in your situation, I'd be going Zerrett.
You might sacrifice a small amount in score, but should gain in reliability to get on the park. When you have so few trades left, you want every player you trade in, to get on the park every week, and we can't be sure of that with Deledio.
Thankyou for your reply Rowsus and also to t.thomas6 as well.
Yes Rowsus I agree, I'm going to go for Merrett after all considerations. At the start of the year if I thought I'd ever be picking Merrett ahead of Deledio I would have thought I was crazy, but as my trade situation demands minimum risk I'm banking on the safer option.

In terms of durability - fully agree with Rowan here. Merrett's been a very good pick for me personally (managed to get him when he bottomed out for Barlow :p) so you can't go wrong here either way.

Hey TG,
nice score last week, and a good jump up the rankings. Well done! :)
You currently have 15 Prems, and 2 Midpricers (Crouch and Libba) you might end up keeping.
With 10 trades you are going to struggle to complete your team with a strong 22, so you need to keep looking for value. Unfortunately, for every Pendlebury you pick, you will end up with a rookie/poor selection in your final starting 22. I don't think Hall is an option. He's at the sort of price you need, but not in the sort of form you want.
I think you have something like $116,200 in the bank.
Tucker may not grow a lot more, but also isn't at a price we can work with this week. None of your Round 15 Rookies look like they can or should be traded out this week: Tucker, Collins, Jansen, Stewart. It looks like you might have the bare 18 players, if selection falls your way.
I'd be going:
Dempsey to Yeo (cost $64,800) - he's not a genuine Prem, but he is underpriced.
Mills to Gaff (cost $12,200) - should give you around 20/week more than Mills, for virtually no money cost.
Petracca or Kerridge to Lynch (GC) - if you think you might be trading Kerridge at some stage, use him, otherwise use Petracca.
If selection doesn't fall your way, I'll try and come up with some alternative trades.
Good luck :)
Ended up only going Mills to Gaff  I don't know how you do it!

Hi Rowsus,

Just wondering, if you get a chance would you be able to post Lycett and Ga*** prices and BEs heading into next round.

Lycett is the one that really interest me, and his price and BE may determine the way I trade this round to set myself up to get him as planned.

Thanks, GG

Lycett is competing against a rested Goldstein next round, so round 17 should be your target trade in round.

Very good point, thanks for that mate, will definitely look into that and take it into consideration.
Hi GG,

Lycett $417,800 - B/E 116
Gaff $372,300 - B/E 17

Hi Rowsus,

Just wondering who you think the best option would be for a mid/fwd FD for the rest of the season for loopholing purposes?

Also who do you think will average more for the rest of the season out of Sloane and Neale?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Fiasco,
the best M/F FD's are Beech and Greenwood from Adelaide. They are bottom priced, and have the late game draw.
I think there won't be much in it between Neale and Sloane, I will say Sloane....... just!

Hi Fiasco,

You want Jake Long (117k) or Mason Redman (131k) from Essendon as your M/F FD. Essendon have the best looping draw from here. I'm sure Rowsus will corroborate this. If you want the player least likely to play, then go Long.

EDIT: There's the 2 bargain basement Adelaide guys as well, you save money and they also have late games, not that much worse as loophole agents than Essendon.

The Ess guys have a slight draw advantage, the Ade guys have a price advantage.

Thanks for your help guys, I think I'll go with one of the Adelaide guys, the extra cash could come in handy!

Probably also worth mentioning there is the possibility that both Long and Redman could be given a couple of games later on.

Hi Rowsus;

If I had $260, 400 in the bank after this week, what is the likelihood that I could straight swap Mason Cox with Dan Hannebery next week?

(I, of course, have the necessary DPP links to do so.)

Hi Eagling,

Hannebery $562,000 B/E 164
Cox $278,700 B/E 49

Price difference $283,300 - $260,400 = $22,900 short.

$22,900 / 440 = 52 points short.

164 - 49 - 52 = 63 points.

So you need Cox to score within 63 points of Hannebery to get there. I'd rate that about a 60-65% chance.

Hi Rowsus.

The gamble did not pay off. I'm now $6, 700 away from being able to straight swap Cox to Hannebery. In your opinion, what is the likelyhood that I'll be able to do that straight swap next week?

---

Additionally, I have Liberatore at M8, with a MID/FWD at M7. Hannebery is my target to move into M7, thereby shunting players around; but is it worthwhile trading Liberatore out too? And if so, with a midfield of Dangerfield, Pendlebury, Ablett, Selwood, Rockliff and Priddis, who would be your best target (assuming Hannebery is in the top two).

--

My current team:

My team:

9 trades, $ 260, 400 remaining.

D: Shaw, Bartel, Rance, McVeigh, Howe, Yeo, (Collins, Uebergang)

M: Dangerfield, Pendlebury, Ablett, Selwood, Priddis, Rockliff, Liberatore, Montagna, (Trengove, Phillips, Joyce)

R: Goldstein, Martin, (Wyatt)

F: Zorko, Martin, Deledio, Wells, Hall, Kerridge, (Nankervis, Cox).

----

I guess I'm asking whether I should play it cautiously, perhaps sit on my trades for a week; hopefully be able to straight swap Cox to premium next week; keep Liberatore M8, keep Kerridge as cover - or should I just double-trade, Liberatore - Hannebery and Kerridge - ??? (Neale, Sloane, Treloar, Ward etc), or perhaps Cox to Parker, and perhaps wait to trade Cox to Dahlhaus/Lycett somewhere down the line to replace the Kerridge cover.
