You might only have 5 defenders playing, maybe only 4. Ash, Young, Williamson, Watson have very shaky job security.

Is anyone else leaning towards more value picks due to the current situation ?

Walsh + Coniglio + L.Ryan seems better to me than Neale + Danger + Roberton/expensive rookie.

Anyone else had a change of mindset ?

Very last minute side thrown together as a safety net if the season goes ahead tomorrow but unfortunately I think the world of sports has set a precedence that the AFL will follow.
A lot of expensive rookies but maybe the traditional GnR approach might be overruled by mid-price madness with a shortened season.

This is the last version of the side I was probably planning on starting with this season before all of the corona virus changes (last change made was on the weekend - I would have traded Yusuf out now he's out of R1). It actually probably looks better than my current team - I'll post that team once the relevant matches have started.




Too much risk to do well, but didn't want to go for a "traditional" starting side due to what I believe will be a poorer batch of rookies this year.

Had Naismith for the last few weeks, panicked and change Danger to Gawn as I have a feeling those who don't pick him will make you regret it round 1

That would be Yusuf (Cat Stevens), yes.

As I said, not what I'm running now. Was hoping for a fast start but acknowledge it would have hurt later in the season.

It doesn't actually look too bad

would probably allow Ceglar to Whitfield/premium mid
